Anyone who knows me knows I hate exercise, it's painful, sweaty and very boring. I have tried team sports, gym, running, power walking, aqua aerobics, yoga and spin, so a far few things but each time I lacked the motivation to keep it going longer than a few sessions and then I found Dean at DJ Fitness & Wellbeing... I'll admit I was nervous booking a PT and it took a few months of emailing before I had the courage to book a course of sessions but I am so glad I did! Dean put me at ease instantly, the sessions were geared at the right pace, intensity and I found myself looking forward to each one. There were times I struggled but Dean kept up the encouragement and I surprised myself by what I had actually accomplished. I was given a meal plan with plenty of options to help stay within my calorie goals and also an easy to follow work out schedule to complete at home. I am a mum of 3, I work full time and struggle to find any time for myself but the sessions became my me time" and for the first time in a long while I put myself first for a few times each week.My body feels stronger

Dean is a gent and legend. He was so encouraging and engaging throughout the workouts and really inspired me to push through even when I wanted to give up!I could not recommend him enough as at PT trainer.

Dean has the patience of a Saint!!I've used his PT services for awhile and am forever grateful for his patience & understanding especially when I am ready to throw in the towel...again!!He is so supportive and truly understands what it's like to have weight loss & fitness struggles.He continually finds new exercises to keep me motivated and will adapt them if I'm not firing on all cylinders or have an injury etc.He listens to any concerns you may have and takes them seriously.Although I have my favourite exercises he still pushes me to get out of my comfort zone & try heavier weights or a different exercise.Dean is not a shouty pushy trainer(which some people might like)but he encourages you to to the best you can in a calm supportive way and certainly knows his stuff!!Even if I go off the rails he is not judgemental but offers different solutions to help avoid any future issues .With his support I'm finally getting results with being consistent.Dean definitely deserves a medal for putting up with me....he is brilliant!

I booked 12 sessions having never done pt sessions before. I am not someone that is motivated myself and needed that bit of help, Dean has been great and I've absolutely seen results. He has been patient with me at times when I've struggled but never let me give up, just changed things up to make it work for me. I've always felt he is there if i needed support or questions about the eating plan. 1 of my biggest concerns as a bigger woman was judgment and I can honestly say not once did I ever feel he was judging me for anything. I cannot recommend or thank him enough and will most definitely keep up my sessions with him.

Dean is a great motivator and customises exercises to suit each person. Building on weekly fitness really does work and he keeps fun and enjoyment in there too. Love my sessions and - I feel energised every time.

Dean is great, no judging or getting you to be anything you don’t want to be. Gently encouraging and fiercely motivating I always leave the session feeling better than when I went in. I will never be a size ten or sprint for England but I feel mor positive and happier with myself than before.

Dean has been instrumental to helping me recover from lower back issues, his calm and planned approach has helped me to achieve more normality and improved core and physical strength. A great guy who really knows his stuff and cares. Recommend without question.

My girlfriends and I hired Dean for a series of morning training sessions. Prior to our meeting, he'd already staked out where we were due to meet (beach) and established unique ways in which we could complete circuits, team workout activities and competitions using the beautiful environment around us (e.g. running up the stoney beach incline, bound together in the squat position to water's edge and back, boxing, rope work and military-style fitness challenges, races along the promenade).Dean sent us a pre-training survey to check on any pre-existing conditions and brought along music speakers so we could play our playlist. I think this summarises his attitude to his work so well: Committed and responsible but adaptable and client-centric.I only wished i lived closer to Dean. I'd book him weekly. As you should do!

Dean is great. His sessions, support and guidance are superb. I have lost substantial weight and I am the fittest I have ever been. Would definitely recommend.

We were booked for at 80's weekend at Butlins and looked for a trainer to give us an on the beach workout on Saturday morning to help shake off our inevitable hangovers. We came across Dean searching google and he responded quickly to say he could give us the session we had requested - something fun where we worked up a bit of a sweat, and with a few games / competitions built in as we are a competitive group!Dean delivered perfectly. We were based just in front of the sea and Dean brought his speaker so we had motivational tunes banging out. We were energised from the moment we got there. Dean's workout was a lot of fun and incorporated games resulting in forfeits for the losers, relays, and circuits with various bits of kit.We felt so good that we then booked him for the Sunday and did it all again! He brought different kit and arranged a totally different session for us.We give him 10 out of 10 and would love to book him again when we are next at Butlins!
