Lee has done an excellent job with the two guitars I've taken to him. I've been excited playing them again after picking them up. He also managed to fix a broken volume pedal, which other technicians had refused to even try to work on, saving me buying a replacement. On top of that he's a very friendly and knowledgeable guy to chat about guitars and music with.I'd thoroughly recommend Roberts Instrument Repairs.

Thoroughly recommend Lee. My guitar had picked up a loud buzz through the pickups. we thought it might be a jack socket issue but eventually Lee had to disassemble the electronics and rebuild them to find the issue, while sticking to his original quote and keeping me up to date as he searched for the problem. Then he tweaked the truss rod and gave the guitar a good service to boot. fantastic!!

I’ve recently discovered Roberts Instrument Repairs and they’ve just set up an acoustic and electric guitar for me, including adjusting the action and full re-string. Both guitars now play like a dream - thanks Lee! Will definitely use again and have no hesitation recommending.

I got my guitar set-up by Lee in advance of my first gig. He did a superb job very promptly, which was massively reassuring ahead of the big night. He is patient, excellent at explaining options, delightful company, and does a top notch job. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Robert did a fantastic setup on my status T bass and lowered the action making it so easy to play now and changed the active battery box. Also has just set up my old cheap Korean made 12 string guitar that sat in my parents loft for 10 years and transformed it into a very playable guitar. Very happy customer!
