Rock Over Climbing Sharston

Really good setting at v2-4-6 level. I can't comment on the harder stuff particularly.Quiet centre, spacious. A pull up bar wouldn't hurt and it feels old in some ways despite only being opened very recently, but some great holds more than make up for that.

Went to ROC Sharston on Saturday, their opening day - Staff were really friendly and knowledgeable.The climbs were a lot of fun and a huge variety of skill levels, across the 3 large areas. Very cozy and welcoming reception and chill out area. 10/10 will be climbing here again.

Not as big as the centre in Manchester...however it was big enough for me and a couple of others to spend 2 hours there and not run out of climbs to do (we climb at 3-5+ levels). A great range of climbs, very similar in style to the main centre....possibly the only issue is that there are no cave climbs, but that's being very picky. There were also lots of easier climbs to do if you are a beginner.We'll be back!

Absolutely mega! Love the vibe love the facilities and more importantly the variety and difficulties of problems and techniques required made this place really stand out! Think ive found my new home!

Fantastic climbing centre. So the routes were very good. There are difficult climbs and easy climbs for all abilities. Holds quite diverse. The walls are quite high compared to other centres which depending on preference is positive or negative. Centre also has 3 bean bags in middle for relaxing whilst watching your friends or kids climb.

Had an absolutely brilliant instruction session with Brianna. She was amazing with my 4 year old who built his confidence and enjoyed his rock climbing lesson!

I've been twice now to this climbing centre and had two very different experiences. The first on a Friday night when it was very quiet and chilled. The second on a Monday night when it was absolutely rammed. The centre itself is ok, enough climbs to keep you busy for a few hours but its all very standard and doesn't really have a USP. The problem this place has is it's in competition with the Depot in Trafford which is easily twice the size, has more interesting walls and is substantially cheaper, especially now that Rock Over has increased its prices (£13 for non-member adult day pass). Overall I will probably come back here infrequently when I want a change, but it doesn't have enough to pull me away from the Depot.

Just very friendly staff, helpful and knowledgeable. Relaxed atmosphere. Went for an introduction (I'm a beginner) and immediately became a member.
