Swarland Avenue Surgery
Stuck with this surgery through far too many systemic problems. The GPs are nice enough in person but the errors and rudness of some staff is frequent, unforgivable and dangerous. Significant test results sit unactioned for weeks or longer. Expect to have to be on top of everything yourself or suffer consequences. Availability of appointments is a major issue but it's the dismissal of urgent problems and mishandling of results and failures in communication that strike me as unacceptable. Shameful actually. Time for a well overdue change.

What amazing service. I called today with a query I thought would take ages to sort out, but the receptionist was amazing and sorted everything out for me over the phone in an amazing calm and professional manner. A great example of what good looks like. Keep up the good work.

This GP surgery is wonderful. The team who work at reception, the doctors and support they provide is really amazing. The team are very courteous and try their best to get you an appointment. I work away often and the team are so helpful in helping me with appointments. They've also provided support for our new born baby.10/10 - Thank you

Appointments available to be booked online is beyond terrible, an entire month wait at the earliest, still have to call at opening time to see if any appointment. Horrible system. GP constantly explaining all sorts and upbeat tone, mostly irrelevant to me, instead of listening and asking relevant questions in a calm tone. This meant that I didn't have the chance to tell and ask half the things I wanted to. Then I am being told it's 1 issue per appointment! Since when? I thought it was 10min/patient... I am not one to post reviews, but I might as well not bother going to this GP, waste of time....

The staff in this surgery to above and beyond every time they are needed. All of the receptionists are lovely and the doctors are very empathetic.

5* for the reception and nurses. 1 star for one particular doctor I have asked several times never to speak to. Ashleigh Mcdonald. If you can't be bothered to do your job properly which is to help patients and help save lives. You should be stacking shelves in a shop. Not working as a doctor.

Wrong item sent on prescription &when i phoned to get it resolved for emergancy inhaler was told might get it today or tomorrow i asked to speak to doctor on a phonecall & was told point blanck no my local chemist had to send them a email i eventualy got it 5-30 pm thanks to Halls chemist forest hall not the receptionistt to send email to request it
