A peaceful afternoon spent walking round the bog. Spring is approaching as you can see the snowdrops appearing and some shoots coming through the soil! A great place to unwind and walk with my dog!

Frozen pathways, birdsong and eerie icy water - very atmospheric! Luckily few people on the walkways because social distancing would be tricky. Liked the info boards. Glad we've finally visited

First time of visiting this lovely place, and it won't be the last.We went to blow away the cobwebs and it certainly did the trick, we felt refreshed afterwards.So peaceful and stunning, can't wait to visit in the spring.

So beautiful here, would be a great place to walk in any weather. Didn't venture off the board walk as had no wellies but maybe another time. There was also a wildlife trust volunteer there giving out some information about the bog, which was useful. They are trying to develop near the reserve - show your support to help stop this!

Incredible and beautiful reserve close to the city. Valuable and rare collection of plants and habitats. Care should be taken when visiting to continue to protect the site.

lovely little walk! suitable for wheelchairs as the path is a raised wooden path with chicken wire over for grip. Great nature spot. plenty of floral and animal sightings. Great for child education as plenty of information listed. Dogs to be kept on leads if they wander off. Can be very damp and wet but plenty to explore.
