Great place for coal ,gas diesel and mooring or pcaravaning

We stopped 3 nights in January 23, in our 7.5 mt motorhome.We were greeted cheerfully by Ian, who is just as lovely as described in previous reviews. This site is excellent. Good hard standing pitches with sufficient privacy gaps between them. Each pitch has water and electric and there is a new and practical Elsan disposal point next to good rubbish disposal facilities.Included in the price are the use of a level entry shower room, with tons of hot water and a heated floor, toilet, basin and baby changing station; toilets and a sink area for washing pots. There’s a laundry £2 per wash and £3 per dry (1+hrs) All found clean and in good order. £25 p/n. Nearby along the towpath, the Bulls Head serves top nosh and a bit further along, the Blue Bell Cider house does a great Sunday carvery. We enjoyed our three night stay (had only planned on one night) and would definitely return.

Great weekend with friends at Lady Lane Wharf. Easy to find and hubby reversed straight onto the pitch.Staff lovely and helpful with suggestions about what us nearby.Awesome cafe / bakery and the local pub (about a ten minute walk up the road) was superb. We had a lovely afternoon and a few drinks in there and returned in the evening for a meal.Would be great to come back in the summer or at least when the weather is better!Thank you

Stayed a couple of nights in their caravan site on my way to London to break the journey. Good base to visit the local area. Excellent for a stroll along the tow path of the canal past dozens of narrow boats

Excellent wharf, just needed a pump out but the facilities are excellent. Beautifully maintained wharf and moorings and great team member and service.....unlike the one just up the canal!! Every wharf can be like this with a little respect for its surroundings and the canal boat users.

A great place to stay. 5 pitches with electric and water on each. Very good facilities by way of toilets and showers. The manager Ian was really welcoming and helpful. The location by the canal is great with excellent walks and pubs nearby. There is also a great bakery a short drive away. Really good spot for a base to stay and explore the local area.

Excellent location for the NEC. Pretty surroundings and canal walk. Amazing café/deli not far. Nearest pub very good, but wear hi vis if walking in the dark. Will certainly consider visiting in the future.
