We had a small pond in our patio in a state of decrepitude (30 years old). Everyone I phoned to restore it lost interest when learning its size (4ft x 3ft). Except for Aquamaintenance. Brad and his lovely hard working team (George, Andy, Ollie, Morgan, Paul) transformed the pond, with imagination and expertise (in cold, wet weather). Nothing was too much trouble. Like sourcing just four patio slabs the same as the ones laid 30 year's ago. We are so delighted and grateful with the result. George and team also relaid the patio which was in a woeful state and rebuilt a retaining wall that thought it was the leaning tower of Pisa. All this was very hard work but done cheerfully. From the initial contact regarding a quotation to reconstruct our sorry looking pond, Brad and his team were second to none. In addition to the pond, we wanted a full garden makeover, including soft and hard landscaping but had been struggling to even get companies out to provide us with a quotation. Brad advised us that he and his team have received multiple awards for work undertaken at the Chelsea Flower Show so we knew that we were in safe hands.Aquamaintenance's professionalism, attention to detail and continuous communication throughout our project was excellent. We are so pleased with our pond and new garden and can clearly see why they have received such prestigious awards. These guys are superb!

Team arrived on time. Carried out the work efficiently and were clean and polite. Checked with us along the way about what they were doing was as we required. Looked after the fish carefully and returned them safely back to the pond at the end. Kit was installed, operation explained and demonstrated well. Tidied up and left us with a sparklingly clear pond. Result.

The pond pump and filtration system installed by Brad and his company was NOT OPERATIONAL and the workmanship was woefully inadequate and shoddy.The UV light never worked properly at all and the water circulation was a joke! The second pond was not moving or circulating at all, the pipework was not even solvent welded or fixed at all and kept popping out, and we found a jay cloth stuffed into one of the pipes. The gravel areas had gravel thrown in that was not even properly prepared and washed before installation so those 2 square areas are clogged and useless- with no water flow at all through them.The UV lightbulb was squeezed into an area not meant for the proper UV treatment of water—the bulb must be submerged in water in order for it to stay cool, otherwise it will keep blowing—hence the lovely growth of algae and green mucky water. Evolution Aqua even prescribe a standalone UV filter.The team left a ridiculous drain pipe that sticks out of the pump, so that the whole area floods every three days, putting ancient yew hedge at risk, not to mention causing a slipping hazard on the pavement. Plus, the pipe is so close to the concrete slap that it could undermine the slab very easily. Common practice is to install a soak away at the very least. You also left that pump area in a shambles with huge stones everywhere.I requested a small amount of money to rectify all that was messed up, and they ignored my request, wrote excuses, and I never heard from them again.

Aquamaintenance have looked after my pond (bi-monthly clean) for 11 years. Also three years ago they replaced the old pond liner and even managed to source an exact match for the original concrete wood effect" slabs so we could replace broken ones. Aqua Maintenance have been looking after my pond for about 2 years now. They have recently taken my fish to their storage facilities as I'm moving and will be building a new pond in my new home , their service has been first class from the start, nothing was to much trouble and now i can relax knowing my fish will be well looked after.
