Nice hockey pitch with new goals and surfacing. The tennis pitches are all in good condition and so are the foot ball pitches. The changing rooms are all very clean and accessible. Something for anyone looking to participate in a range of sports.

Visited for a league game (Brigg town FC) recently (August 2023). Prices for entry were £6 for adults and £2 for children. Prices follow the league guidelines and to be fair are value for money. The game saw in particular was an 8 goal thriller with Brigg unfortunately not winning the game. Cracking game of football! The ground itself was a little dated and does need a lick of paint and TLC. The entrance through the turnstile definitely needs an upgrade in particular the path leading to the turnstile which was just some grass, which on a rainy day isn't great. There was also a card machine issue which saw a young lad waiting ages for the machine to work.Overall, a good non-league ground/ team good for a value for money game of football.

Although there are football goals and nets up the hedge surrounding both sides of the pitch is so sharp it will puncture any football that hits it. The pitch can also get very boggy when it rains.

brigg football clubwas looking for a venue for son's 21st birthday, which needed to be central to all invited. contacted owner , asked about DJ recommendations. son has several disabilities , including autism , and had his heart set on a playlist to include his favourite bands , majority of whom are not played on English radio stations , but are availible on Spotify etc. we specified this when enquiring about the booking 5 months before the party and was told it wouldn't be a problem (i have a full record of all text conversations) - we had a mixed playlist including Runrig (retired last year after 45 yrs , numerous albums / compilations availible) , Manran , Skippinish and Skerryvore (who played in Hull last week) as well as well known acts like Madness , Ultravox , OMD and other 80s acts. to say my son was devastated is an understatement. we left a playlist 4 weeks before the party , ample opportunity to discuss issues if necessary - didn't hear a word so assumed everything was ok. texted the day before with a request for a song , fully expecting it to be too late , wrong !! it was being done less than 24 hrs before the start of the party. we had a few actual songs / artists requested but others were either not played at all or the songs were changed completely - i was fuming ! we specifically chose things that people could dance to , as well as avoided obvious song choices - how do you dance to The Greatest Flame by Runrig ? why do people think all The Waterboys ever recorded was The Whole Of The Moon ? we asked what had happened and were told he either didn't have songs / artists or couldn't find them - i'm sorry but when did Big Country become obscure ? ( saw them in Lincoln last year and they're in Hull this year ) . son was about to cry when friends took him into the bar - jukebox had several Runrig tracks on which the bar staff put on for him. we also had issues over hiring the kitchen to make sandwiches - initially told food hygiene cert needed but turned out not to be the case !anyone thinking of booking the clubhouse needs to either a) not give a damn about music or b) get your own DJ. can't help but feel bitterly let down / ripped off. to this day i cannot see why i was not warned beforehand about the playlist issue. it really isn't fair to treat disabled people like this when their conditions mean they are much more sensitive . really wish i'd taken my daughter's phone and speaker into the car park , or used my own cd's in the car stereo ....
