Mediocre food. Staff friendly. Place needs a good scrub... banister rail to loos sticky and nasty. Loo floors (especially where floor meets wall filthy). My niece's glass was dirty.Windows next to us hasn't been cleaned in ages. Not a good impression and makes you wonder how clean the kitchen is. Made me wonder if the waiting staff were expected to do the cleaning.... saving money on these things in hospitality is, finally, losing money.I won't go back there and nor will I try another branch.

Very good food - pasta, pizza, and excellent salads - plus one of the best dessert selections in Chichester. Swift and efficient service. Comfortable ambience. Unfortunately, it was overly pricey. Would give it 5 stars if the prices were a bit lower.

My first time in an ASK Italian. I don't think I'll repeat it.We had a table booked for 5 and on arrival we weren't shown to the table, rather it was pointed out and we seated ourselves. After sometime we managed to order some drinks, no water was on the table or offered.Food was slow but generally ok.Overall the experience was quite poor, it was difficult to know who our server was during the meal, nobody made the effort to check on us or provide any kind of service. The restaurant was far from full but the noise level meant conversation was difficult. There is only one toilet and it's a baby changing/disabled toilet. The place needs a serious overhaul.Don't ASK Italian, ASK to go somewhere else.

Such lovely and helpful staff, we were rushed and I am a wheelchair user and they were so accommodating and friendly! I appreciate the consistently delicious gluten free and vegetarian food, beautiful presentation too. Really nice atmosphere and I love the lemonade shots, such a nice touch.

On the 2nd December 2023, at 16:40pm me and my partner entered Ask Italian Chichester and it all went down from there. It was our anniversary and the staff completely ruined with their rude service and lack of respect. From first breath they were saying they were booked despite having 10 or so tablets free and putting time limits on tables, they sat us at a table but instantly time limited us telling us we have to be out by 5:30pm, giving us only 50 minutes to eat our meal. The female waitress which originally time limited us gave us massive attitude and made us feel very unwelcome. She had told all the staff that we were on a time limit and they all made it clear that we were not welcome to eat in comfort. There was one waiter who was extremely rude and made our whole experience awful, he had massive attitude and kept coming over telling us to get out because he apparently needed the table despite their being many tables available. Well it got to 5:30pm and he came over snatched our plates off the table, never once offered the dessert menu (he offered it to many other customers around us). We ask for the dessert menu and he sarcastically said yes but it was cutting time apparently because he wanted the table. He slammed the menus on the table and less than 1 minute later came and told us to decide, my partner being on the phone we had not decided yet and he snatched the menu from us and told us to get out all because he wanted the table for customers who had not turned up. I cannot believe how disgusting someone can be, Chichester Ask Italian has no respect at all and we will never be going again, they have lost good customers. If I could give 0 stars I would.

My wife and I love ASK in Chichester. The restaurant is very light and airy and the service friendly and efficient. We generally only go lunchtimes, but it always seems a bit of a treat. The food never fails to impress. I have no hesitation in recommending a visit but one should always book.

Cannot fault the food, service nor atmosphere. Very friendly staff - a special mention for Nathan - the service was spot on.I tried the vegan salad bowl, something usually outside of my comfort zone, but it was tasty. The kids menu encouraged our little one to try new things too and they were satisfied. The new chocolate brownie lasagne wasn't overly sweet which was great. Thanks again!
