The scenery alone around this station is worth the five stars alone,not forgetting to mention as it’s So closely located to the high street with your local shops where you can go for a short walk as you wait on your train.

The lady at the window was so helpful today even though the whole train strikes, delays etc etc she managed to keep her cool and helped me keep my cool too, she showed excellent customer service which looked like a really stressful day. Thanks for helping me find my journey

Stroud Train Station is a DISASTER! Terrible management, incompetent staff, cramped waiting rooms. No snacks, no comfort, just PAIN! Trains are old relics, graffiti everywhere, Bumpy ride, always packed like sardines. NOT GREAT! #StroudTrainFail #DumpStroudTrain

The station is generally clean and in a good state of repair. The toilets are clean, there’s a small indoor waiting room, and a vending machine. Staff in the ticket office are very friendly and helpful. However, there’s no step-free route between the two platforms (one would have to take the long way around, a ~10 mins walk).

The train station has a privately owned car park the rates are £3.80 per 15 minutes . Avoid parking here if possible unless you like being robbed blind .
