Great Magazines

I have been subscribing to Arrowwords for years and had the odd issue but over the last year or two the quality of the print has deteriated. sometimes there is too much ink and other times the print is very pale. Some times the pages are creased. I can manage without the big letter descriptions of the puzzles that take up room. Had enough.

Subscribed to a monthly magazine roughly 1 year ago, only had 6 out of 11 magazines.I have emailed and had some queries responded to and some not.Requested a refund and they have just extended my subscription, on 4 occasions now. I have pointed out how pointless this is as I never receive the magazine yet we continue to go in a never ending loop of my illusive subscription" being extended...Worst company

DO NOT DEAL with unless you like people helping themselves to your bank account without authorisation!! Customers services informed me it was “not a continual subscription” but yet they continue to take my money well after the subscription end date. They stated the onus was on me to cancel! Even though they never send you any correspondence to inform you the subscription is due to end / renew etc. Awful company that pray on people with busy lives. Avoid at all costs!

Terrible service and no one cares. Subscription had defaulted back to my old address even tho I gave them my new address. Customer services blamed me and still waiting for a magazine 3 months later. They also won't issue a refund. Do not use this company would rather pay more and buy from newsagent.

I purchased the Empire Summer 2022" preview issue from them back on May 10th. I realize its coming from the UK

Took out a yearly subscription to walking magazine with the offer of a complimentary gift, this never arrived even though they allegedly sent it out 3 times . Customer service are useless , i will never subscribe again & strongly recomed no on else does either .

Awful company. Put an auto renew on every subscription and even if you call and get it removed they say that you haven’t and just charge you to extend the subscription without authorisation via Bauer media. Which is always alot more than the original cost.Despite it being a Leicester the call centre is not based in the uk and the customer services via email and call clearly don’t understand.DO NOT DEAL with unless you like people helping themselves to your bank account without authorisation.

Never sent the magazine, claimed to have sent it again, yet again no magazine. Assured me there would be a refund, didn't receive one, chased up, still nothing. Disrespectful and unprofessional company with seemingly no desire to fulfill orders or keep their word and instead take your money and run.

Absolutely awful customer service and conman style behaviour with customers. They will threaten you with forced memberships once you try to cancel. Do not go for any of this companies deals and steer clear of them.

I purchased a subscription as a gift in 2020, the magazine arrived extremely sporadically but I put this down to the the global situation, it was also nearly impossible to either call /email customer service as there doesn't seem to be available numbers or emails to contact anyone . However, at the end of that subscription period I was billed again for another full year which I was fairly unhappy about seeing as it wasn't something I was expecting to happen . Having had a less than positive experience with great magazines in 2020 I couldn't have expected that the service would have become even worse! Since June of 2021 my father has received only one magazine, from a monthly subscription. You can't contact the company via email or phone so you're left with no product and no chance of a refund either. Seeing that so many other people have had similar experiences now, I'm confident in saying that this company should be avoided at all costs. It has been a truly abysmal experience.
