We went to the hungry horse ( Rhyl ) yesterday evening Thursday 26th October. We ordered one starter which we received about 15 minutes later . The waitress forgot our cutlery. Our mains took at least forty minutes to arrive which I had to ask for twice . When we finally received them the steak we had to send back looked like it had been on the plate for ages a small hand full of chips peas were cold . The second main was not much better. The dessert took about the same to arrive. I had to ask 3 times in the end I asked if they could box it me up and take home .

I was in a party of party of six having food and drinks on Thursday evening, the food arrived but one of the meals which was a mixed grill had cold chicken, when I told the bar staff it was taken back to the kitchen but the was no apology for this also we had to wait nearly an hour for our deserts. We also asked for napkins which never arrived. I am not very impressed with the service.

Staff were extremely friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Tables were wiped when showing people to their seats. Food was great.

Visited yesterday for pub tea. Booked a table via the website quick and easy to do. Our table was ready for us. Nice location on the harbour in Rhyl. Used my bluelight card and got my discount. Food and drinks value for money. Staff polite and attentive. Service was good. Food was very tasty and enjoyable.

Ordered a Sunday roast, what they advertise is a lovely plate full of food. Of course I wasn't expecting that but I was expecting more than of I was feeding a toddler! Literally 3 frozen roast potatoes and a teaspoon of mash and 1 stalk of cauliflower. I asked where the stuffing and Yorkshire pudding was to be told they were out. No discount just we're going to serve you 1/5 less of your meal (and a tiny portion) but you need to pay the same price. I won't be returning!!!!

Went in for our lunch yesterday on our way home from our holiday.The staff were all extremly friendly and helpful. The food was delicious.I have two children who are fussy eaters and had to make lots of requests on there orders, the meals came exactly how I requestedI can't fault the food or the service, highly recommendWe will certainly go again next time we are in the areaThankyou

Slightly disappointed as ordered a burger without mayonnaise as allergic to it. The burger arrived with mayonnaise on it so I had to take it up to explain. No questions asked they took it and said they would get a new one out to me. Had to wait a little while whilst they made the new one and then when it came half the other toppings were missing such as the cheese and fried onions which made it a bit dry and plain which was disappointing as i had paid extra for the better burger rather than just a plain one. Partners meal was very nice so shame about mine.
