Constantly refuses to accept cards. Please remove card. Card not accepted". Doesn't matter if it's a debit card or a credit card

I used the filling station pump today for the first time. It only took cards and I had to put in the price I wanted, which was £20. I only could get £19.38 in and was assured that this was all that would come out of my account. Unfortunately when I checked my account this evening it had taken both £20 and £19.38. Now I have to go back tomorrow to sort it out. I’m not pleased at all

Really easy pay at the pump and the price is good, better than in Newton Stewart and it's just off the main road so you're not going out of your way. What's reassuring is that they also look like there are toilets there which is really good when you've made a 5 hour journey up.

Usually the diesel and petrol is at least ten p cheaper than anywhere else. It's about an hour or so from anywhere of note but this service station is just off the A75. Look for signs for Creetown because if you blink you'll miss it. The station is not on the trunk road but just off it. It's self service 24 hour. There's no staff and no shop. In fact there's nowt but fuel. The pumps and card payment only systems are touchscreen display only. No cash. We always stop to fill up after a long drive from the northwest cos it's great value
