Not 100% German, but good, clean and tasty. They could use a bit less oil for the veggie patty (that’s why only 4 stars), Spacious restaurant.

Excellent kebab at a good price. Really enjoyed the chicken OG kebab with fries and the garlic sauce. The restaurant is okay, they have plenty of space. Staff was very nice too.

There is another GDK in the city centre just 1km away, but this one is newer. Currently the environment was cosy and clean. The food quality was still good with satisfying portion. The service was quick during an off-peak period.Please note the service could take a long time (more than 20 minutes) during a peak period like lunch, typical GDK speed.

Absolutely god awful place.We had looked at the menu with the absolute bare minimum on and my friends had ordered their food, which were chips. Never thought ordering chips could become so difficult.They came within a 15 minute wait where the lady called our TABLE NUMBER? Whats the point in putting in the table number for starters for it to be called. Theres about 7 tables how is it so hard to learn where those are and their numbers.Anyways, our food came with about not even half the box full. Theirs came stone cold. We therefore asked a member of staff who was kind enough to offer us help even though she looked like as though she’d been crying. After telling them, they said they would make us more chips. We waiting another 20 minutes and went up again to ask for a refund. The man at the till REFUSED to give us a refund and said ‘the manager wasn’t in’ so they couldn’t refund us. Maybe the manager shouldn’t be a manager if they cant train their own staff for simple minded tasks.We then proceeded to continue the conversation where he turned his back on us and started ignoring us. He turned to talk to the kitchen staff which we then overheard them say they never even got the order? So they hadn’t even been making them that whole time. We demanded a refund after that but he decided to simply refuse and use the same excuse which seems to be common in these reviews.We left after him giving us the receipt and saying ‘come back when the managers in’Never come here, complete scam of your money.

I don't usually compliment food and services that i have experienced over time this would probably my first ever review about any restaurant. I had a chance to visit this restaurant to try chips and salad box . I got it as of my expectations the taste was superb. Customer service was outstanding and cleaning was excellent. I would compliment the young and energetic staff working in kitchen and on front.This is such a humble team which will do anything to make your visit memorable. Same for me, during my visit i had to ask them access to washroom for my baby’s changing, Ihtisham made sure that we get the access quickly and even a locked unit was made available for us. Keep doing good work. It's no less than making world a better place.

Visited today around 8:30pm (22.08.2023), greeted by Aleena who was very polite and was so patient with me and my friend who had a hard time deciding. There was no line so it was fine and she gave us recommendations as well as asking if we want to update our meals (great upwelling from her side). She checked up on us and made sure we enjoyed our food, as well as giving friendly talk which we enjoyed as it was not busy at all. Would love for this to be forwarded to her as she did her part as part of the business, as well as her part as a friendly lady who lifted my mood after a difficult day at work. Manager felt a bit iffy at me and my friend as we waved her down when she was free, only asking for her name as to leave a review for her service. Heard the manager(blue kenzo top) saying “what did they want?” and it seemed he said it in a harsh manner when we were walking out. Didn’t understand this and felt bad as if we bothered her, when we just wanted her name to thank her again on a review as she was excellent and she deserves the appreciation . She definitely is a great team member and we never leave reviews but she made my day by just being nice, patient and interactive, eventhough it was late. Once again, credits to Aleena for making someone’s day better without even knowing.

My recent visit to GDK left much to be desired. The food I received was shockingly cold, as if it had been left in the Arctic for hours. Tables were utterly neglected, resembling a battlefield of discarded plates and napkins I have pictures also.. The service was painfully slow, and the waitstaff appeared more interested in chatting amongst themselves than tending to customers. I was profoundly disappointed with my experience and hope that GDK can muster the motivation to dramatically improve in these areas to provide even a modicum of a pleasant dining experience for their paying patrons.”

Visited this place twice recently. A delight for vegetarians who love burgers. The veg patties in burger or in waffle bread is too good and cannot be missed. Have also heard great reviews about chicken doner items.Also there are varieties available in fries such as flaming fries, cheesy fries, curry fries and I opted for curry fries both the times.
