Northumberland Dog Care

We’ve used Northumberland Dog Care for four years and would highly recommend their services. Our Border Terrier, Bobby absolutely loves Paula and Chris, we only have to mention their names and he’s straight to our window looking for them. He gets a great workout in a fabulous environment and we are updated with fantastic images, videos and the funniest commentary. Paula has gone above and beyond on more than a few occasions, supporting us with Bobby’s health, from diet to ailments - she is a true Dog Guru!

Paula and Chris have looked after Oscar for over 6 years now and we wouldn't take him anywhere else. He is totally safe when there and really looks forward to his visits when we mention Chris or Paula.If it was possible to give more than 5 out of 5 I would have no hesitation.

Our cockapoo Flo has gone weekly to Paula and Chris for the past 6 years. She gets so excited as it’s her second home. She thinks it’s her first at times as loves it so much. They treat her like family. Loads of open space and videos shared of fun times. I trust them fully and would highly recommend them.

Paula and Chris were recommended to me in 2016 when we needed our ( then ) young , fairly unsociable German shepherd looked after while we went on a 3 week holiday .. we had regular updates about how she was and we were so happy that we had found this business that she has been going almost weekly since then .She is now a 9 year old , still fairly unsociable old girl who loves her visits for daycare , and never fails to amaze us how she gets on with every other dog while she is there .. all down to Paula and Chris , and their knowledge and expertise at handling dogs of all sizes, ages and temperaments .. she loves her time there and comes back exhausted !!

Northumberland Dog Care have been our go to dog carers since he was a puppy. He is now almost 8 year old and we wouldn't send him to anybody else. All the dogs that go there are happy and well looked after.

We have been using Northumberland Dog Care (Paula and Chris) since 2017. This was firstly with our older Border Collie cross Tyson who required 1-1 walks as he was an unsociable grumpy boy who preferred his own space and he loved his time spent with Chris on those days. In 2018 we welcomed a Border Collie pup Isla and we knew straight away there would be no one else we would trust to take care of her. Isla visits regularly for group walks and settled in instantly from her first visit. Isla loves Paula and Chris, they are her second family and the excitement she exudes when she sees the van pull up to collect her is amazing. The best thing is knowing that the love she has for them is reciprocated and they treat her as one of their own. She comes home content and happy which makes me happy knowing she is having the time of her life whilst I’m at work! She has consistent dog friends who she has bonded with and this has also helped hugely with her confidence as she’s always been a wary girl. We would never hesitate to recommend anyone to use Paula and Chris!

We would be lost without Paula and Chris!Roxy has been going to them for five years now and they care for her like their own.In the last couple of years Roxy has had a couple of operations and her exercise has had to be scaled down.Paula and Chris have taken this on board and give her some wonderful walks without over stretching her.We trust their judgement absolutely and know she is in safe hands. Thoroughly recommend

Can’t recommend Paula and Chris highly enough. Since his first visit in 2017, Stanley, our Cockapoo, is cared for as if he is one of their family. During dog walks, there is always an abundance of photos and videos full of happy, happy dogs. Stanley loves it. Great service. The best there is ❤️
