Food is good and the one front house staff member was running around but absolutely horrendous waiting times. Ordered sandwiches and drinks to go. The coffees were ready half an hour before the food so they've gone cold while waiting. Definitely need more kitchen and front house staff members.

The food is excellent. The service is poor. The waiting staff took 20 minutes to serve drinks and the tables around us were in the same position. I had to chase the waitress to place an order.When queried the young man running the front of house said he aligned doing drinks with food orders. On what hospitality planet does this happen? I can tell you no where… the owners of this place are missing out on revenue. In the time we were there they could of served us 2 rounds of drinks, possibly 3… but instead it was 1. They must have deep pockets to run an operation like this. Given the location and quality of food this should be 5*. Come on, I’ll be back and hoping to see an improvement in front of house. P.S. if you ran a coffee cart to the young driving school spectator area you would make a killing. 10-20 Parents there on Sunday every hour, freezing, and no doubt would order many times over.

A cafe with great staff. Previously it had pictures which reflected it's aviation heritage. Now sadly , it is painted a dark , drab colour which has made it completely souless. Needs a makeover to make it more welcoming. This is purely MY opinion , compared to how I remember it.

Hot day and there wasn't any salad on the menu, but when asked I was told yes we can do a salad if that's what you want.Wife had Tuna Salad, I had Cheese Salad. Both were good quality with a nice dressing. Portions were good too, in fact I had to eat half the wifes Tuna as it was too much for her.

Love this cafe! Such a lovely area, the staff are great and the food is amazing. If you want to get to the cafe, you have to go to the right hand side and press the buzzer for the cafe and they let you in. Lots of parking and great way to watch the aircrafts.

Great cafe for lunch stop. Staff are really helpful and they have an allergy book that you can check for any dietary restrictions. Good food selection with interesting options. We missed the specials boards at first and picked from the menus on the tables. Do check the boards.The fish in the butty was really well cooked. Pizzas looked great but didn't try - next time. The tuna salad was generous with the tuna but light on the leaves.

Place was nearly empty when we went for lunch, so there no atmosphere. Service was prompt, and food was delicious. Will go again when in the area.

Very pleasant setting & nice food. Staff were efficient & friendly. Not sure what teabags they use but they are top notch. One suggestion would be a slightly expanded menu including a few more veggie options (veggie burger, pasta dish, etc). Cakes etc looked excellent and will try next time.
