Wow what a lovely caravan and camping site. It's got toilets and shower facilities with hair dryers. Also disabled toilet. And washer and dryer also small kitchen with fridge and microwave. There's also some swings. And picnic tables.

Great family site. Has both male/ female toilets & showers. Added bonus of small laundry room, Kids swings. Nice quiet site, park & ride just 5 mins drive away into York. Ship Inn pub only 5 minutes walk away serve lovely food.

Lovely little campsite.Upon arrival we were greeted in a friendly manner, and this really set the tone for the visit. The staff were wonderful. The facilities are small, but perfectly sized for the number of pitches. There are powerful, hot showers, a sink, microwave, fridge/freezer and a washing machine. They also have a large, well appointed family/disabled wet room.The pitches are generous and soft. They are a bit sandy, so make sure to take your longer tent pegs.Overall, we loved it there, and it is certainly on our list for another visit.

This campsite was one of the loveliest places we’ve ever been to since travelling in the UK. The owner is extremely kind & helpful & the rather cosy site is run with love & an eye for detail! Just to name a few: the paper hand towels, the lovely smell of the soap, the hooks for towels or clothes in the facilities, not to forget about the available fridge, freezer & microwave. Thanks to some people not showing up for their reservation we could stay two days longer than actually planned. Thank you for making our stay so comfy & all the best for you & your campsite :)

Stayed here for a week the site is about 4 miles outside of York. The site had flat and level grass pitches with electric hookup if required along with a family, ladies and gents single facilities which where always clean on the downside they are not heated just for info. It's 4 and half miles walk into centre of York or just over a mile to a buss that runs about every hour or a 21 about 5 mins from site that runs every 2 hours. On the way to town you could cycle as a cycle route is well signed and pretty flat

I just love this site, my husband and I along with my sister and brother in law stayed there last week, and we loved every minute of it. Owner was just so friendly it may be a small site but as they say the best things come in small packages. We are coming back and I must mention bill who could not do enough for us they are all lovely.The Gordon's and the Burrows xx

Perfect little campsite. Quiet, family friendly, close enough to access essentials without loosing the beauty of the surrounding countryside. Lovely owner, very clean shower / toilet block with free to use hairdryer and family room. great washing up area with fridge, freezer and microwave all available free of charge. Swings for the kids. Washing machine and dryer available at a cost but we didn't use them. Will definitely be back especially with such low prices too.
