I loved this place as much as I could love any vet. This is where we put our gorgeous boy Stormy down. They took such good love and care of him, stroking him and keeping him calm whilst it was all happening. He received the up most treatment and the vets themselves were so knowledgeable in the field, giving us complete serenity over the devastating moment we were about to face.Fantastic service, thank you for giving Stormy the goodbye he deserved.

Thank you ALL for everything you did for us last week. We had to say goodbye to our beautiful Yorkie boy, Taz. You showed us so much compassion in such a painful time.. Special thanks to Lesley on reception... You know what you did. Will never forget. You are a star. Thanks all again xx

Brilliant experience.I took a cat there, and was seriously impressed by them.I was told the options , the likely outcomes, and what they felt was in the cats best interest. The receptionist was polite and friendly, both on the phone and in person. What more could you ask?

I would like to Thank David and the staff for their great patience and support!Recently I had to make a traumatic and devastating decision.I was given all the facts and procedures. Then plenty of time to consider what I should do for my cat Marmalade. The best thing was to put him to sleep.....Needless to say he was nearly 17 years old. He had been my companion for all my adult life, I loved him to bits, I was devastated!I was shown great kindness by all involved.THANK YOU!I

1st time i visited, my beautiful but elderly cats fur had become matted due to inability to groom properly. I saw a lovely lady who seemed kind, compassionate & knowledgeable. She put him under general anaesthetic n shaved the bits where it was needed. We spoke about his past dental problems. And it's to her I'm giving the 2*.But i didnt like the bloke (julian) on our 2nd visit. He seemed very cold and when he heard how old my cat was (15.5!) he just wanted me to put him to sleep...he took him to look at but was back out to speak to me within 1 minute. My cat had a dental abscess, and had lost weight not being able to eat properly. He wasnt sick, he just needed some help n i found it extremely upsetting.Edit**it's taken me 2 months to be able to write this update.I returned again hoping they would finally remove his tooth after he had responded well to antibiotics. But no, this female accomplice was obviously well in with Julian" (pompous t**t) because she mentioned his prognosis several times. She questioned me about my cats behaviour and health

I have been a client here since 2001 when Anna was there and she was lovely and caring. Recently I took my elderly cat for a routine appointment which ended up by me taking her to Langford for some intensive care. I have her home now but she has problems and needed some more attention. The vet at Langford suggested I take her back to my vet for this as it would be cheaper for me and not so far for my cat to travel. The lovely caring vet from Langford spoke to Street Vets and asked them to do a blood test and sort out for me to be able to get a urine sample. I took my cat in and they ignored the request from Langford. Although she was delicate from her stay in Langford and all I took her in for was a blood test they squeezed her tummy and said she was fine. They said in the future all they needed to do was offer her palative care over the phone. They didn't do the blood test but by squeezing her they made her worse than she was before and overnight she deteriorated. Two days later Langford said I should take her back to my vet. She spoke to the vet in Street who agreed to do the tests she asked for. Street vets phoned me and told me the tests were extra cost and they would just put her down at which point I refused to take her. They then organised for me to see a senior partner at Langport. Although it is a long drive I took her because I thought he was going to do the tests. He refused but said he would put her down. Had they told me this I wouldn't have gone all the way to Langport. My cat ended up in this position because of a routine appointment when they gave her medication that didn't agree with her and she didn't need. Now they are refusing to help her. Sorry I took her here and I won't be going back. Uncaring vets.Shame on you Street vets you are not the caring people vets should be.You should own up to your mistakes not cover them up. Be honest about what happened and stop pushing the blame onto your clients. If you care about your pets find another practice don't use this one. If you have an elderly pet all they want to do is put them down not treat them.
