Pearson Professional Centre - Leeds

No directional signs on ground floor entrance so after taking the lift I arrived at reception. I was rudely told I had entered through the wrong door and had to go back downstairs and return to the exact same spot I was stood in, but by a different entrance. I politely protested, pointing out it was pouring with rain and I’m not in the best of health - not one single person was waiting to be seen so I couldn’t see why I couldn’t just stay. The young woman said I wouldn’t be seen if I didn’t ‘follow the rules’ so I did as told. Got soaked in the rain and to my dismay there was no lift in the other entrance. After climbing equivalent of 2-3 flights of domestic stairs, the heart condition I normally have under control kicked in and I could barely breathe by the time I reached the room I’d been in a few minutes earlier. I then had to take the test breathless and shaking. 8 days later and I’m still struggling with tight chest and shortness of breath. I understand the need for one way systems and other COVID restrictions but common sense and decency must prevail surely. Passed with 98% anyway.

Not even worth 1 star. Very poor 'test centre'. If you are sitting a difficult exam I would avoid this test centre at all costs! Pearson Vue have zero consideration to their test takers and these centres are not test conditions. I sat an exam 2 weeks ago and they admitted the test centre being loud and 'not test conditions' however basically said it was my fault for not blocking the noise out properly without being provided with ear plugs. No customer service skills and purely a monopoly making company!scammers.£120 for a 90 minute exam, they have a responsibility to provide a service to great quality. They make a MAJOR amount of money for really doing nothing at all apart from providing a centre for qualifications to be pursued. I would be surprised if they gave you a refund for them setting a fire alarm off. There response would be something arrogant, 'you shouldn't have booked an exam on fire drill day' ABSOLUTLE JOKE of a company.

The staff are incredibly rude at the Leeds test center and something needs to be done about it. The government should not commission a private profit making (revenue $161.2M) company to deliver this service.

Rude and very arrogant staff. I didn't believe the reviews before I turned up but their 100% correct. The staff litteraly have no people skills, they make you feel like you've done something wrong. Wouldn't recommend!

Why does it say it’s shut when I have an exam today??? Please respond.

Went in today for CSCS the staff were very polite and professional and welcoming.Which was a very big surprise!I've been in previous years for a driving test and CSCS and they were terrible, also I've used brighton test center and had similar bad experiences, grumpy, ignorant,rude, aggressive staff that don't want to be there.I was expecting today to also be as bad as it usually is..So I was very pleased today that you now have good, nice, friendly staff that want to be there and help.Thank youLee r

Unable to contact them in times of need. My test dates got postponed, they asked me to re-book, no dates available. Fine. But answer the phone call or send a proper email explaining how to go about.very poor customer service if any.

Staff was very professional and have clear instructions. The computers and equipment used for the test also worked without any issues.Tip: if you click on the find location" link on the email they sent

Extremely rude and arrogant staff, no wonder so many people are failing first time! They make you feel so utterly uncomfortable and make your nerves sky rocket! To anyone thinking of taking their theory test here, go with someone who makes you feel calm and relaxed, go with a smile on your face and don't let the staff get you down! They are obviously very miserable with their job but it doesn't mean you have to be too!

Really confused, As have a theory test coming up soon (31st) but your centre is shut on the date and time my theory trest was successfully booked, Leeds temporary A is the name, can you explain? Cant get a hold of anyone, when i do get hung up, very frustrating.
