Mereoak Park & Ride
Long thin shelter with paper local bus time table and a car park.Very difficult to get to Reading from. There are paths to the other side of the M4 but it's a very long way round and an uncontrolled crossing across 3 lanes of 70mph traffic.Local busses don't stop near Premier Inn Reading Gateway M4,J11 from here. Only from Reading town so you have to stop at Kennet Island Turn and walk the 20-30 minutes back to the Premier Inn.Not near Reading town at all. Its 1 and a half hour walk to Reading train station. Which I do not recommend. If you are getting off a coach here do your research for a taxi company and be prepared to pay around £12-£20 to get 1.6 miles. Not worth using an app like free now" because taxis don't come using that service. Also no "Uber" service in Reading. Also be aware they close the M4 either fully or partially every weekend so coach services are likely to be delayed then.No drop curb or tactile pavement. No toilets or cafe. It is literally just a thin shelter with seats and a car park."

Poor, poor, poor. Do you read your reviews? No toilets, middle of nowhere, no cafe or shelter. My elderly parents hate this place

A carpark in the middle of nowhere, national express coaches drop of and pick up passengers there and take them to different parts of the country, there is nothing there not even a toilet

Useless place in the middle of nowhere, no facilities, no toilets, no decent rain shelter, takes 40min on the bus to get to train station, perfect place to get robbed.

Great for Park and Ride, I am sure... public buses are regular and ample parking... not so great if you are waiting for a coach.... especially if late.. no toilets, no coffee place....

Excellent service. Friendly helpful bus driver. Very clise to M4 junction 11.No hassle much better than finding somewhere to park. I was in Reading for 5 hours and it only cost me £4.50 . Would never drive into Reading again. This is so much easier.

Very far from the city center. There's a good car park and place to leave bicycles

Adequate for waiting for the local buses to Reading, not so adequate for waiting for coaches to London or the West Country. Seriously, no toilets, café or half decent shelter to speak of. Completely unacceptable.

The hospital bus didn't stop properly and open it's doors before driving away.I went to Mearoak on the 600 bus, which may have been a few minutes late, but the 300 bus to the hospital was just behind. I asked the driver on the 600 where the 300 parked, and he said just behind.I got off quickly and walked towards the 300 hospital bus, but never saw the doors open and thought it may need to move forward into the space after the 600 left. Suddenly the 300 swerved around the 700 and drove off.Another lady saw this and said it was never properly parked. I'm sure the driver saw me. Appalling!I had to get back on the 600 and walked up to the hospital, which I really didn't want to do, as I have a back injury and a lot of pain when walking very far.
