OLD TOWN EDINBURGH ONE OF THE BEST MORNING WALKS I DO. The vast amount of Historic architecture is amazing. The Royal Mile is centuries old with many places and museums. There are guided Tours a plenty. Best to start at castle and work your way down hill to Palace. Many restaurants and cafe Takeaways. Great place to explore the city centre for kids of all ages

Great foodmarket with varied foodstands, go with an empty stomach and enjoy all kinds of foods! I loved the Kenyan samosa and the Ethopian chicken curry!

Cute little market - there wasn't a huge amount of stalls when we visited, but it was also raining steadily so I wouldn't be surprised if some had called it quits that day. Got some nice jewelry, almost got a gorgeous handbag. Worth checking out if you're nearby!

Historic (well what parts of Edinburgh Old Town aren't?) Lots of lovely boutique shopping and cafe life. Beautiful in the sunshine and at night.
