Colchester Town Hall

Amazing!! Cried at almost every song.It was serene and quiet, the string quartet informed the audience a bit about the songs, told us when we could take pics and vids (Liva la Vida was the one for us).No formalities in regards to dressing up etc, I did but it's only because it's not everyday I see a candlight orchestra playing Coldplay wonders

Great experience. Would highly recommend seeing the string quartet play a tribute to Queen. I wish there were more events like this in the area.

Colchester Town Hall a municipal building, which is the headquarters of Colchester City Council is located at the busy High Street in Colchester Town centre. The council buildings at this site was reconstructed at different time periods. As enter this building, we can see a marble staircase with a statue of Queen Victoria, stained glass and a monument to the Colchester Martyrs (the same list of names as engraved on the war memorial at the gate of Colchester Castle). The first floor has a mayoral suite, a committee room and the council chamber with a painted ceiling, an ancient clock and stained glass windows on both sides of the chamber room. There is large assembly hall on the 2nd floor called the Moot Hall (which was closed for renovation when I visited). Many from the royal family have visited this building. The tower of the building has the statue of St.Helena.

It was Coldplay brought to classical life in a very cool way. A truly magical experience. I will be looking for future candle light concerts...

It is located at the center of High Street. A great architectural design. The location is one of the busiest places in Colchester. Town hall hosts different festivals over the year and also accommodates social ceremonies

Went here to listen to a candlelight string quartet of Xmas music last night. Music was exceptional but unfortunately the venue wasn’t the best and needed to be more spacious with better seating.

The Hans Zimmer concert we went to at this venue was excellent and the venue beautiful

Wonderful and magical atmosphere hosted by very organised Colchester TownHall. Magnificent and spectacular performance of the quartet. I would advise to not miss it if you have the opportunity to go to any Candlelight concert. I can't wait for the next one, hoping to be soon.

The most amazing evening watching Fever Presents Candlelight Concert. The String Quartet were so incredibly talented. Such an enchanting and lovely show. Would highly recommend going.
