Although I never been to the hospital to use their services but I have used a few times either by self referral or by my general practitioner, the self referral online form is very easy to use and once completed it took only a couple of days for someone to call me back and have care plan set to support me with one of the support staff and if necessary to be referred to the NSFT mental health team. They have been very helpful during the covid-19 crisis, they even once support me looking for work with their job advisers. You can fill out the self-referral form anytime of day or night also their website contains details of different services like workshops, if you prefer you can call them instead of filling out a form duringofficialofficehours, doing this is quicker than going through your own general practitioner.I don't know what I would do without their support, it's only been a couple months ago that I have used their services.

The wellbeing service provided workshops to the staff team at the Assist Trust on Wellbeing in the Workplace and the Anxiety Toolkit. Both workshops were brilliant, in both the content and the delivery of the training. I would highly recommend this to individuals and organisations.

I’ve been using this service for months now, and it has been great! Easy to refer yourself and everyone I’ve spoken to is super supportive. I was offered an assessment call with a woman who then explained possible treatments, letting me decide which was best for me. I attended a few webinars, and later joined a waiting list for CBT. Within a week I was offered a place with a psychologist. I’ve attend more than a few sessions now, and have already seen a slight improvement! They put a lot of effort into your personalised treatment. I was under the impression that my problems weren’t ‘big enough’ to be treated, but they’ve really made me feel supported and helped me the best they can. I’ve never been turned away or made to feel not important.

One-size-fits-all cheap and useless rubbish is all they provide. Basically a huddle of nice" middle-class people furiously angry at any mentally ill person who dares to question the idea that 5 weeks group CBT will cure everything. Terrible terrible service. Hang your head in shame if you work there. ALL of you.UPDATE: I was supposed to have a phone consultation today but they cancelled by email and I only saw it about 10 minutes before the phone call was supposed to be. Looking at the other reviews this is their usual practice."

Trainer Mark was really engaging and made what could be adifficult/sensitive subject very informative but also fun in the right places, which keptinterest. The techniques shown for mindfulness and CBT were really useful andfeedback from myself and other attendees is that we will remember them and usethem in our lives.

I'm at a loss with this service. It feels like you have to be in crisis before you can get proper mental health support in Norfolk. There is no way to get a full picture from a phone conversation and despite telling them that there are real concerns, red flag signs etc. there is no proper follow up for months, repeated cancellations due to employee absence and not even a suggestion or discussion about getting more specialised help. Just a letter telling you a number to call in crisis. How many people really recognise when they are in crisis? How many people could be prevented from getting to that point by having proper support? The fact your life is falling apart piece by piece in the meantime doesn't seem to be taken seriously. Instead anxiety issues are dismissed as being normal and print outs are sent which are barely relevant or particularly helpful. This particular experience is that of a loved one, of whom it took months of gentle persuasion to get to seek help and of who now is left feeling completely discouraged. It takes a lot of courage to admit you need help for some. This service is not fit for purpose in my honest opinion. My own experience has been a month wait for a discussion with someone about services available and then told that there is a six month wait to talk to someone and I have been given some private counselling options to look at. Options we can barely afford but ones I feel we have no choice but to take. I feel for those who are financially worse off. It is disheartening. I suspect many would be discouraged and just go on suffering instead. Where I previously lived I was seen face to face within a month. There must be a severe lack of proper funding. It is completely shocking and frankly dangerous.

Nearly 2 years of waiting for therapy only to be dropped last minute and sent back to the community team because I was in Crisis which was caused by circumstances. I've been hanging in by a thread and now have to start waiting all over again. They could of done some emotional regulation work with me before EMDR but instead referred me back to another service after this amount of wait time.I'm trying to parent my 4 and 6 year old on my own whilst managing my conditions and have been pushing to get support and therapy and this is how it's handled so it's no wonder suicide rates are so high.As for the crisis team well who knows how many people they've pushed over the edge. I'd never met two more desensitised people in my life.Considering most of the staff should be trained in active listening skills the communication is terrible and definitely not helpful for people suffering with mental health problems.I've constantly had to chase for updates and information. The only thing I gained from this service was a feeling of desperation, disappointment and an increase in anxiety.

The Wellbeing Service has been coming into our workplace for several years now to deliver a variety of wellbeing workshops to our staff. Facilitators are always friendly, approachable and knowledgeable. We look forward to continue to work together in the future.

I had an appointment for a telephone assessment recently. I have suffered from depression, anxiety and excessive stress for almost 60 years as a result of childhood neglect and abuse. On top of that I also suffer from severe, chronic pain. The assessment took an hour and was based on a series of scripted questions. The person I spoke to was not interested in any experiences that weren't part of the script and I felt it was just a box-ticking exercise. At the end I was offered a place on a webinar based on CBT, where you are completely anonymous but are not allowed to ask questions and all you can do is listen to the person leading the session. If the treatment hadn't been successful" after that
