MABE’S GUTTERING

Just had Mabes to clean all my guttering. The boys were fantastic, did a great job with no fuss. Superb value for money. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be using again. Thanks again!

Diagnosed the problem via pictures and on the day the price and job were exactly as quoted. Very efficient, talked me through what they were doing and the benefits of the new joint. Was aware of safety while in my home and socially distanced, cleaned hands etc. A very reasonable price, a quick job and someone I would recommend and definitely use again.

Can't recommend these guys enough...leaking guttering driving me mad. Came out same day, sorted problems quickly, tested and even checked over the rest. Polite and professional lads.

THINK TWICE before using Mabes!!!!We had him and his apprentice come and “fix” our roof. Biggest waste of money and time ever. It was tricky finding a reliable roofer who would give a quote upfront so Mabe’s appeared professional in that respect- providing a quote upfront.However, they are a guttering cleaning business- NOT a roofing company so think twice before you ask them to do your roof.When Kyle and Kenny came to do the work, the holes in our roof felt were not repaired. The first course of felt didn’t even go near the holes they saw on initial inspection and supposedly “quoted for”- but I’ll get to that later.The actual job itself was shocking. I’ve had several roofers inspect the job they did and pick it apart. They didn’t put trays under the felt, the wrong tiles with the wrong pitch were used and the tiles were overstretched when put back.I stupidly handed over the cash on the day and wish I had got my husband to check the work first as I wouldn’t have handed over a dime! We fought for weeks for Kyle Mabe to come back to see how shoddy his quality of work was. When he eventually came, he said the job was a much bigger one and his solution was for us to buy the materials and he would provide a quote to fit the work. Not a solution at all considering I wouldn’t have him near my house ever again.Kyle had the nerve to blame his quality of work on the fact i went up the ladder (as a woman wearing a dress) as the reason he didn’t go up the loft to inspect initially himself. I told him he could have asked me to come down so that is a ridiculous excuse and just insults me as a woman. Instead he blamed his apprentice for his lack of experience on the job as to why the quote didn’t quote for the work that was actually needed!!Just awful awful service and quality of work. Please do not take the positive reviews he has had as fact- I’m sure a lot of them are made up.We ended up getting another roofer in Cwmbran to sort the issue at a fraction of the cost! It’s generous for me to give even 1 star as I would give none if I could.

Came to look at our guttering, quoted and did the job all within a few days. Less than half the of price Dr Squeegees for the same job. After a stormy couple of days we called him back as one of our downpipes was blocked. Came and sorted the problem the next day - as well as solving an overflow problem we had with our 2 water butts - and no additional charge. Fast and friendly service and very reasonable charges. Recommended.

Mabe's Guttering cleaned and completed repairs of our gutters at a very reasonable rate. The team were very mindful of the current Covid environment with the necessary measures implemented when required. Furthermore, they were very responsive to emails and queries. I would highly recommend them.

Mabes Guttering were absolutely brilliant- contacted Kyle and had a quote by the following day. Was booked in within a week. Good value for money and an amazing result- the guttering is clean on both the house and the orangery and looks like new! Would definitely recommend and would use again!
