Popped in for lunch n cyak,full English breakfast (at lunch time) and caramel shortbread,the Mrs had Chicken and bacon roll and lemon and ginger sponge,like the last few times we've called in it was just as good.....Yes,we will visit again.

Very historic building set in beautiful countryside just into Scotland. Delicious hot chocolate and scones was welcome. Super selection of homemade cakes and good lunch menu

Old Toll Bar Cafe
A nice little place with a calm atmosphere. Decent parking around the back. Only small inside but still has several plus tables. A decent choice of food, limited alcoholic drinks and more in the way of non-alcoholic drinks.If you like cake- have a good choice of those as well. Actually cheaper than I thought.

Old Toll Bar Cafe
The Old Toll Bar cafe offer really good food and it’s good value . They have midweek specials of a meal and tea or coffee. All the meals were good expect for the Mac and cheese . It was tasty but the portion size was tiny. The other issue was the service was really slow. Not sure if they were having a bad day or not. Maybe you will have better luck.

Old Toll Bar Cafe
After visiting Gretna Gateway we popped into the Old Toll Bar Cafe for something to eat. We were too late for the Scottish breakfast which was served between 10am and 11:30am. We ordered a round of sandwiches and chips each, these are served between 11:30am and 2pm. As you can see from my picture the food was fresh with a good amount of sandwich filling, I enjoyed them very much along with the shortbread that came with our hot drinks. The service was good. I have only given the cafe four stars because I found the menu choice a bit limited, it seemed to have been scaled down from what I'd seen online. I agree with some of the other reviewers that this would be a much better option to stop for refreshments than a service station but you really need to plan your visit to arrive between 10am and 2pm if you want something substantial.

Stopped off for lunch on our way up to Skye. Really convenient stop. Large car park, friendly and welcoming atmosphere and great food. Will definitely stop here again.

Old Toll Bar Cafe
We stopped here for lunch on our way to Scotland. Good access, good food, good prices. It was quiet when we walked in, but it was getting busier as we left. A really enjoyable experience and we wouldn’t hesitate to stop here again.
