ARGC
ARGC focus on method and procedure rather than patient experience. If you’re looking for a place that attends to you both physically and psychologically in a very personal way, then this is not the place for you. But, ARGC are relentless in helping you get pregnant and will do whatever it takes to help you to become a mother (through all their tests and monitoring). The staff are all v kind and helpful. There are a lot of patients who go to this clinic for a reason but that’s why it can feel impersonal at times. If you can get over that (and the price tag) then I’d definitely recommend ARGC. I’ve had my eggs frozen here and was blessed with a lovely little girl on my second attempt. They helped to make it happen.

This clinic will always hold a special place in my heart as will many of the staff. The staff are amazing and so caring and friendly. The treatment is completely tailored to you and what your body is doing. It's full on and your medication can change daily but worth it as it gets results. I actually liked the fact that it felt like someone else was taking control and I just had to follow instructions which then gave me time to focus on looking after me and my body. We tried IVF for 4 years (5 rounds in total) and our 2nd round at ARGC and all our dreams came true and we now have two happy healthy 5 year old identical twins. They also supported us for a big chunk or our pregnancy too. I couldn't recommend ARGC enough.

We had an unsuccessful round of IVF at the ARGC in Jan 2022.IVF clinics are really in the business of selling hope. When people are spending upwards of £10k on a round of IVF there should be far more rigour and independent analysis of the 'success results' that a clinic claims. We sort treatment due to having a low AMH. Our NHS consultant gave us a 3% chance of success. My advice after having 2 unsuccessful rounds (2nd with the Evewell) and 2 miscarriages is to try and relax! Keep yourself healthy and try to be positive. We went on holiday and shortly after coming home we got naturally pregnant and now have a beautiful 9 week old baby!

I'm really very surprised by any of the positive reviews I've read on this site. Our experience at ARGC was so awful. Someone wrote here that it feels like they are selling hope. That's exactly how we found it. The place is hugely overcrowded and so so shabby. We were ushered in from one test to the next with little or no explantation of what it was all for. Each time we went through the door we paid more money and we didn't know why. After the first consultation we didn't have any connection with the doctor apart from one not very pleasant scan where I asked him what my results meant. He didn't look at me and said that I had a very low chance of getting pregnant and that was it. I was devastated and left the room. After having spent over £1000 on bloodtests over several weeks we went in to start the treatment. On this day we found out that they needed another £5000 for medication on top of the £5000 we knew about. We hadn't been told about this and when we complained they said we should have asked about how much it was going to cost - which we had done repeatedly. The price list we had been given was very obtuse and hadn't made this remotely clear. I was devastated. We didn't have this money set aside. It felt like our chance of having a baby was taken away from us and we'd thrown away the money we'd spent so far. Some of the staff were so uncaring. You felt like you were wasting their time with a question. I felt like they just wanted our money. There was no human connection. Yes they get good results for people who are able to pay for it. But that can't be all there is. You should feel cared for and comforted and kept in the light when going through something as potentially as stressful as IVF.But the good news is we found a clinic in the Czech Republic - in Prague called UNICA. The clinic was clean and calm with a wonderful zen like atmosphere. The doctors available to talk and tell you about your treatment at every step. The and receptionists who know your name and ask how you are. Above all you have a dedicated co-ordinator who answers any questions you have, looks after you, walks in with you before the operation and there for you at the end. She tells you what drugs you are taking and why. She gives you a little pep talk when you need it and reminds you to be realistic when you need that too. In short it was the best care we could have hoped for. For this exceptional treatment, scans and all medication, flights, accommodation, food, concerts in the most beautiful of cities and a holiday of a lifetime the whole thing came to £5000 - about £7000 less than we would have paid at ARGC. We don't yet know whether we are pregnant but the experience was magical and I'd urge anyone thinking about doing IVF to explore options abroad.

The lack of follow up after a traumatic round of treatment which ended up with the hospitalisation of my wife, who had severe OHSS from an egg collection, is disgusting. Complete negligence from the staff at the time - they should have stopped the treatment but encouraged us to continue. Since speaking to the HFEA and other legal teams, we were advised to make a formal complaint. ARGC is legally bound to respond to this and have yet (after months) to respond to any e-mails or calls. Avoid this clinic.

As others have said. Shabby, bit dubious in terms of methods without HFEA backing but like others, we just kept hearing of people that failed elsewhere and succeeded with ARGC. Tried 5 times elsewhere but worked first time at ARGC. Same story with 4 other couples we know. Yes it is fast paced but there do appear to know what they're doing and most importantly, deliver results.

Absolutely incredible treatment. The difference between ARGC and other clinics is they leave nothing to chance. It’s fully data driven. Contrary to what others have said I have found every member of staff polite, kind, efficient and caring. The treatment is on the more intense side here but that’s because you are individually managed. I fully endorse ARGC and if you’re thinking of doing IVF don’t look anywhere else.

This clinic is amazing!! From start to finish, the support, the information provided, the nurses, the care and how the whole procedure is run day to day without error has been world class. I have been to two other clinics before this one and honestly I was blown away at the quality of ARGC. I have had two failed rounds of IVF elsewhere, I came here and was optimistic but I’m happy to say it worked the first time and I’m now 6 weeks pregnant with twins. I wish that I had wrote this review before finding out that I was pregnant as even if this round had failed the clinic is still a 5 star and more to me. They do every investigation possible to ensure that you get pregnant. My advice is that if they suggest that you need something then listen. They haven’t got the best statistics in the country for nothing! Well done guys, you are all amazing!!

18 years ago on 5th March 2003 we were given our longed for gift of our twin daughters. After 5 failed attempts at another clinic we came to ARGC and started our final attempt to have a family. We had basically given up hope, and decided to have our final 6th attempt at ARGC, it was the best decision we ever made.I referred two friends following my successful treatment, one had a daughter who is now 15, and my other friend twins who are now 16. Both friends had also given up hope of having a family.Things have progressed in 18 years but I can’t recommend and thank enough the team for my gorgeous daughters.

This time last year I picked up the phone and made an appointment with the ARGC. I am now 39 weeks and waiting for the big day! I cannot thank Dr Ahuja, Dr Taranissi and of course all the other doctors who saw me in the last year for the miracle treatments. The nurses are nothing short of fantastic. They are so knowledgeable and well organised that without them the treatment would not be possible. I have never felt so safe in the hands of medical professionals - I completely trusted them - and everything happened very fast!Speaking with friends who have been elsewhere, I can identify the differences. At the ARGC you are monitored daily and once you become pregnant they don't stop looking after you. I felt cared for up until the end. They were fantastic and I would recommend them to anyone who has been struggling with fertility especially if you have any underlying autoimmune disorders. Choosing the ARGC was worth every single penny!Thank you so so much!
