The food itself is great. But the outcome of that is all chips are pretty much fried fresh so can be a bit of a wait but if that isn't an issue I would deffo recommend

Great chip shop that's been in the same ownership for 40 years. I'll travel out to this chippy to get a samosa and chips rather than going to our local chippy. Fresh chips and great people. Take cash with you as they don't accept cards.

Highly recommended by my granddaughter! She's not wrong, the chips were excellent. The owner was lovely he's obviously getting it right as he's been there nearly 40 years! Beautifully clean too.

Fantastic chips. Not at all greasy and cooked from fresh ( i saw the guy put then in the fat when i placed my order). My wife had a ‘small’ fish but it was pretty large and the batter was perfect. Great curry sauce as well. Highly recommended.

Friendly staff and excellent customer service go to show that this chip shop is still going strong and even though I remember this when I was at school in the 80s.Excellent and freshly made just like a traditional chip shop should be, Highly recommended amazing quality of service.

Wanted a chippy local to where my mother in law was, went by reviews for this one. Glad I did. Chips were beautiful, assuming it’s the owners that served me and they were so lovely! Very nice people!Cash only, the prices are really low so I had enough anyway. Absolutely recommend.

Not a bad bag of chips but wow, expensive. £5.50 for chicken meat and chips? That's over a £1 more than my local and favourite chippy!

Discovered this chip shop whilst having a stroll to burn off our dinner, ended up getting greedy and getting some chips :-/They were lovely, not greasy at all as is usually the case, fresh and crispy!Looked like a good old school chippy husband and wife team :-)Will be back for more soon!
