Our new favourite fish store. Bought a new 200L tank from them which we are slowly filling up. They have a great selection fish and all the tanks are clean and nicely presented. Staff are lovely to talk to and helped greatly when picking out the tank.

Excellent aquatic and pet shop.Staffed by knowledgeable, helpful and friendly staff.Extensive stock of aquaria equipment, spares, media, treatments and decorations.Downstairs is full of aquariums stocked with marine, tropical and fresh water fish, plants, rocks etc.Four legged pets of all descriptions catered for also.

The place was a little busy in the aquatic section but not so bad that you couldn't move about. All the tanks were well stocked and clean. As with all tanks in all shops some small unfortunate incidents but that's not unusual. The staff seem very knowledgeable about their own section and also have some knowledge about other sections (but if unsure, they don't just guess, They ask the person that is knowledgeable). The follow a very ethical way of selling items to people and want to ensure that you get the best out of your new animal, fish etc. This shows they actually care and aren't just in it for the money!I remember ordering online from them many many years ago but just recently, i've started going in to the shop as i'm looking at setting up a new aquarium and the enthusiasm from the staff makes me feel that this is the right shop to use for my stocking plan! I will be back more often.

Great choice of saltwater and freshwater fish downstairs, however, is hit or miss with what they have in stock. Sometimes, you can pic up some amazing oddballs & rarities. Other times, you're greeted by a sea of live bearers ready for Christmas expectations.Small selection of pond fish, however, being in the back room out of the way, they are not really enticing given that most times I've visited, there has been at least one fish dead in the buckets.They also have a small tank full of Axolotls with legs missing or chucks bitten out of them, which is a shame, as the rest of the wildlife stocked are amazing.Upstairs there is everything you need for fishkeeping as well as a great selection of reptiles. Lots of different food and treatment choices which is always a bonus.Would be great if you could see the fish in stock on their website as like most, I'm always on the lookout for new oddballs to add to my collection. However, I am aware of the logistics required to do so.

We had a power cut today and our Indian star tortoise was without heat. We were told we were was to be without electricity for 12 hours. We rang Urmston Aquatics who said to bring him in and they would look after him for as long as we needed them to. They were so helpful and accommodating, we can't thank them enough. Fantastic service as always.

These people are so nice to deal with, from ordering to delivery, communication was excellent, shout out to 'spud' who delivered my aquarium to room of choice and Ian. Great guys, great prices.

Flawless service from start to finish. I ordered a Aquael Optiset 240 tank and cabinet along with a D-D heater off their website. Their communication was great, I received regular updates, delivery was fast, the delivery driver was brilliant and the product was perfect.Class service all around.
