SM Guitar Lessons
My experience with Simon is very good. I am self taught and needed some guidance on technique and bit of music theory. He has quickly found out things i need to work on and made lessons enjoyable but also making sure its done the right way or finding a way if something proves quite difficult. Even in a short space of time i feel i have improved, making me feel better about my playing and wanting to learn and do more.

Excellent teacher, Never thought my son would stick it out and would give up after a couple of lesson, but after 10 months learning with Simon his confidence and skill has grown and grown. Simon tailors his lessons to the type of music my son wants to play. Can't recommend highly enough.

Simon is a brilliant tutor. He goes at the student’s pace.He has excellent musical knowledge as well as an ability to teach technique. He has a very calm and patient approach.He makes our son more motivated and he really enjoys lockdown lessons online and our son has improved since starting lessons online with him.

Although I do not play myself, Simon has been teaching my 9 year old son for nearly 2 years now!He is doing fantastically and is working his way through his music medals!Simon has great patience with a tremendous amount of music knowledge!He is brilliant with children and like I say I couldn’t be happier with his service! Should be 10 stars but they only score up to 5.

If you are looking for a patient teacher, then Simon is your man! I am in my fifties and have no previous musical knowledge but with perseverance and a calm attitude Simon has managed to steer me in the right direction and I do feel I am making real progress. It is quite daunting taking up an instrument so late on in life but by being able to take things at my pace has helped enormously.

SM Guitar Lessons
Simon has been teaching our 12 year old son for the past year.One of the things we really like is that he always seems to find alternative ways of solving a problem or breaking a sticking point.He creates a sense of calm around him. Our son says “he makes his lessons fun and enjoyable”. He looks forward to his lessons and is making great progress.Simon adapted his teaching plan to cope with the current Covid crisis swiftly and successfully, maintaining continuity leading up to an exam.He is professional, reliable and punctual.L Brook
