Course layout was very good, Welcoming staff who were happy to assist. Overall really enjoyed it being my first time there but the one drawback was that the greens were not in a good condition.

Pretty sure the greens have alopecia. Half the grass is missing in patches.making it impossible to putt. Don't bother trying to read the break beacuse it will randomly bounce around.It's a shame because it could be a very nice course.Every part of the course just needs work.

Stapleford Abbotts Golf Club
Greens, bunkers, fairways and tee boxes generally in good shape. Played during social distancing regulations with limited clubhouse facilities available. Green fees reasonable compared with other local golf courses. Relatively easy layout. Flat course with several dog legs to be aware of.

For the price this is a great golf course with plenty of water features and bunkers. Buggys are £25 and a trolly £3.50 or so.

the course is decent for winter but everything seems a bit old, most people are nice but one of the lady running the place seems a bit rude hence the 3 stars.

Enjoyed golf at Stapleford Abbotts. Due to irrigation problems greens not great but rarest of course excellent. Food and staff very good. A very good society day.

I played at Stapleford Abbotts Golf Club for the first time today. It is a lovely course and well laid out. The Clubhouse has a lot of character and the staff were nice and friendly.I would thoroughly recommend this Course and will look forward to playing it again.

Society xmas outing held here today. On a very cold day it was great to have such a warm welcome from Sam and the team . The breakfast and Xmas lunch / pudding was spot on big portions and excellent quality. Looking forward to returning in the New Year
