Spending a reasonable amount of money on something you have never seen, etc is always a worry. But, my concerns were soon dismissed when I took delivery of a Miroku shotgun I bought from Derek Lee Gunsmiths. The gun was delivered to my local RFD when they said it would be, and was exactly as described on their website. I received a phone call from Paul to tell me the gun had been delivered to my local dealer. The following day, Paul called me again to check that I was happy with my purchase. The customer service at Derek Lee Gunsmith’s is second to none, and I have no problem highly recommending them to all that read this review.

Just made my first distance purchase of a New Browning Maxus II from here and they made the purchase an absolute joy. I had no idea how the process worked but they explained everything in detail and really put my mind at rest.The price was also fantastic, so all in all i am very impressed by this extremely professional and helpful team. I first bought a gun from Derek 5 years ago. It was a Browning 525, when I had got it home I noticed a fault with it. The next day I returned it for another with no problems. His shop is very nice, well stocked and a good service. I have contacted him again recently regarding him purchasing guns from me, he replied quickly to my emails and was very helpful. The shop is not local to me but well worth the journey.

I have nothing but praise for Dereks very helpful staff It’s been 35yrs since I last owned a shotgun, I popped in for a look at some guns before my licence arrived and Paul couldn’t do enough for me answered all my questions also let me try some guns for fit.I bought my gun cabinet and then popped back in and bought my Beretta semi-auto and I’m over the moon with it.

Absolutely fantastic gunshop and gunsmiths. They made my first purchase of a used shotgun easy and stress free. The man who assisted me in the shop was friendly and very helpful. Derek himself answered all my email queries very timely prior to my purchase. Even though I had to travel 70 miles to get to this little gem of a shop, I wouldn't hesitate to make this journey again should I need something else. Top class shop, people and service. Highly recommended. Thank you.
