Just want to give a massive shout out to the lovely Elena for her patience, kindness and professionalism.We went in to enquire about a private dining event and we were greeted with a warm welcome and promptly shown around the venue at our request.It was an extremely, sweltering hot afternoon and following the viewing, Elena saw to it that we left the venue cooled down, comfortable and happy.That meant a lot. Some businesses don't realise that it's the little things that make the biggest difference and have such a positive impact on customer experience.Amber was also lovely and showed us images and videos of the venue on their social media. Our numbers are above capacity, but we will definitely be keep Onyx Restaurant & Bar in mind for future events.Wishing you all continued success in the business!

ONYX Restaurant & Bar
Just wanted to say a huge thank you to your wonderful staff that looked after us on Sunday 26th November. We were the table of 16 and even being such a large group the staff were so attentive and super friendly. The food was fantastic - we are all still talking about the roast now. The atmosphere and singer was 10/10 great service all round they couldn't do enough for you!

Beautiful restaurant, lovely food and the staff also very considerate as we was with our baby and they advised there is a party upstairs if it gets too loud they will move us. Will definitely go again

We went here recently for my birthday, our server was lovely, really attentive and chatty and the resturaunt is decorated beautifully for the festive season. Food was great, I'd recommend the monkfish, we were eating early so it was quiet which we didn't mind, would definitely go back.

I went to a party at this restaurant and really enjoyed it! A very nice and welcoming place, with good food, friendly staff and a great atmosphere. The only thing I would suggest was that the music played during dinner could be a bit lower to allow for more chatting. But still a 5 stars review!

First time trying the restaurant last night. There was four of us and each dish was delicious! The restaurant was very busy and live music was a nice touch. A special mention to our server Kay, fantastic staff member who made sure we were well looked after and we throughly enjoyed the whole evening. Will definitely be going back

Food was alright.Was overcharged for drinks. Says one price on their website, but because we had a drink, and was a bit drunk decided to charge us nearly double. One of our table members ordered a bottle of wine, paid for it so it doesn’t get added to the group bill. Then they added it to our group bill as well, and made us pay for it. So we paid extra for that. I feel like they took liberties because we had a drink, and was focusing. Emailed them the day after said they would call and they didn’t. We had a free drink that came with the set menu, had to remind them when our dessert came out that we get drinks, if we didn’t remind them then we wouldn’t have had it. Waited so long for the drinks to come to the table after we ordered them each time. Then tried to charge us over £100 for the service charge. The only good thing was the entertainment the singer. The table was right next to the door so it was freezin everytime someone walked in and out. Wasn’t a good experience for a Christmas meal.

ONYX Restaurant & Bar
We went for lunch at Onyx on the second day of opening (12 Oct) at lunch time so pretty quiet. I had the 4 cheese risotto and my partner the Calzone, both really tasty. The decor is very smart and we liked the open kitchen at the back of the restaurant. Staff are really nice and helpful. It would be nice to see a brunch type menu in the future. We would go back again and see what the atmosphere is like in the evening.
