We were on holiday and needed to see the vet at short notice with our 15 yr old black Labrador. The vets saw us very quickly and helped our pet so we are very thankful for their kindness and help. Thoroughly recommend them too

You walk into the most amazing reception team, they make you feel your pet is the most important. The nurses are just the same making a fuss over them and taking great care of them. Then the incredible Vets that you trust with their first class knowledge to help your pet stay well.Would 100% recommend!!We have been using Albert Cottage for 20 yrs’ish

Use to be a loving vets, they are still very good at getting animals in for appointments and check up never had an issue also pet plans good, I would just say if they are having any surgery or anything double check what your actually paying for I ended up with a massive bill with extras payments and I still have no idea what I'm paying for

Excellent service by first class staff all round. Most importantly they make your pet feel comfortable with them whilst reassuring you throughout the appointments, whether routine or short notice following an injury as withmy most recent visit. I called Albert Cottage Vet as I was very concerned for my pet. I was treated with empathy over the phone and given an appointment for that afternoon. The staff were helpful and friendly. I didn’t wait long, 5 minutes. The vet was professional, thorough in her examination and explained everything clearly. I came away feeling a lot happier than when I walked in. Recommended this practice

From walking in you’re greeted warmly by the receptionist, the waiting area is beautifully clean and there’s a relaxed atmosphere, which is great when you have an elderly, excitable pug as we have. The vet was fab and he handled Frank with an ease and friendliness and a good understanding of the breed. Communication was great. Explanation of what the problem was, how we go about fixing it, what meds he was going to prescribe and why, was crystal clear. If you want to take your pet to a vets that’s warm, welcoming and friendly, that treats you and your pet like family members but still remaining highly professional, I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Albert Cottage, it’s worth every star.

Made an appointment to have my youngster neutered, asked my previous vets to provide history as have relocated. They advised they had done this. Kept getting email/text messages that they will cancel my appointment as I haven’t provided history. Requested a call back from practice manager who has now sent me an email telling me I’ve upset their receptionist and they are cancelling my appointments and refuse to have me as a client. Obviously I’m frustrated as done everything that was asked of me prior to the appointment.No way to treat customers!!

Given the news that we received on initial checks of our younger dog being potentially a very poorly boy we can't thank the wonderful staff at the clinic enough for being so accommodating and caring. In particular Colin, who has really given us such an attentive and straightforward approach in how to manage his symptoms.

Very friendly and empathetic team who have always managed to get me a quick appointment if I've needed as my dog has got older
