Where to begin. Experienced one of the most volatile, hostile and dangerous drivers I have ever experienced! I asked him a few simple questions regarding the length of his stay and the location of where he was dropping a car off as it was a high traffic area with limited parking and right outside my property. At no point during this initial interaction was I rude or discourteous. He berated me as I asked him to not be rude to me with a child in the car and asked him to have a civil conversation. He then approached my window in a hostile manner and I asked him to ‘get the f away’ in which case he proceeded to shout at me until I was forced to drive away from my own property. This continued to escalate to me having to call the police as he continued to shout at me and I was afraid to enter my property as I would have to walk past him. He continued to follow me to my car as I was on the phone to the police and made numerous attempts to take the phone out of my hands. The police hearing the man’s shouting advised me to get away as they could hear continue to hear him chase me. A neighbour stepped out to de-escalate the situation, the driver then attempted to intimidate my neighbour, shouting at my neighbour ‘why you acting brave for’ who was forced to return to his property. The driver continued to call me ‘stupid’ and ‘idiot’ outside my own property. He then came back to my property for a second time to continue the verbal assault. All in public and in full view of our camera system.All with a child present.
