If you have a large heavy bike I recommend not getting off the train or on here. The lift is quite small and i had to use the stairs almost falling down them with the bike. I eventually got it in the lift after 5 minutes but I couldn’t ride with it. Overall a nice station but lifts need an upgrade

Great station and you can get a trian to most destinations. Also has places where you can still buy your ticket if the ticket office is closed and you haven't got your ticket online

As others have commented mind the stairs if you need access. Certainly some would need to allow a minute or so to get up the stairs, so beware last minute runs for the train.Architecturally it's good to examine, particularly from street level. Some intricate details all over the station.Avoid the toilets. Disgraceful and ill-maintained with even basics (soap, toilet roll). I'd say use Shrub Hill. Reasonable walk if unremarkable on the way but you get a different appreciation for what Worcester city centre has to offer. Foregate Street is very convenient, however.

Amazing the waiting rooms on Sunday 17th Dec 11.30a.m on platform 2 is all locked leaving us customers in biting cold waiting for the next train for 25 mins how sad!Management should consider the welfare of its clients

It's a very well kept clean train station. The staff are friendly. They have toilets on the main platforms not on the main entrance. There's a Tesco right next to the station where you could grab some snacks before you travel.

The café needs longer opening hours, and there is only one waiting room. Otherwise, very friendly ticket office staff.

If visiting Worcester and you wish to get off in the centre of the city, choose Foregate Street rather than Shrub Hill which is further out. With the latter, its easy to get lost as the signage to centre isn't great. Foregate Street is high up so you will either have to navigate some substantial steps or take the lift.

Trains are often late. The elevator are not big enough for cycles so u have to lift then to get in.
