First time eating here and it exceeded our expectations. Food is amazing and service is brilliant! I had a Lamb Shazlik it was very tender and tasted beautiful. My family really enjoyed their meals too.

You cannot fault the food in this establishment. Good variety on the menu. The flavours are fabulous. The staff are always polite and attentive.

Low prices, great food, friendly service and a traditional atmosphere.Four of us had beers and a bottle of wine to share, plus naan and poppadoms with main meals for less £80.A relatively large restaurant to the east of Stapleford, just up from the Horse and Jockey pub.Some classic indian curries plus some Gurkha themed dishes.Slightly sweet style, very reminiscent of the now closed Bengal Spice in Long Eaton.

My partner has been coming here with work party's and as I'm a curry fan recommended I try for myself, exceeded expectations, food very flavoursome with all the different spices coming through the dishes, I've tried a lot of curry restaurants and this is up there with the best ,compliments to all involved.

Went for dinner with my family who all love a curry and all four of us said it was an average meal and that we've all had much better Indian food. My Chicken Jalfrezi was verging on bland and some of my chicken was a bit tough and chewy. There are better Indian restaurants in Nottingham.

Super place for a nice curry. Good staff, nice food and staff. Curry is well spiced and nan bread very fresh and light. Just needs a bit more meat on each dish.

Wonderful coeliac friendly restaurant. Staff were excellent - I rang to order takeaway and was immediately passed to the manager who talked me through their processes and areas of possible contamination risk, including telling me that their popadoms are supposed to be GF but prepared off site. He then checked with the chef before coming back and confirming which dishes were ok. No ill effects after our meal which was delicious.The house specials were particularly tasty but double check because they don’t all come with rice and naan as the online menu suggests.

We ordered a takeaway, three meals (two with rice) four poppadoms and two garlic nann came to £42 :-)Food tasted great, although I do feel my Madras could have done with more meat.Very tasty and great service, I would actually like to dine in here as it does look nice when I came in to collect my order.

Gurkha Curry Nights
Excellent food at good prices. Lots of Nepalese and Indian dishes to choose from. Service was rather slow, but we did have a group of 14 people. Spacious room is good for groups.
