never shows up on time, always an hour late or just never turns up, sort your bus drivers out!!!

When I travelled with my guests from abroad to the Amaravati Buddhist Monastery nearby Hemel Hempstead we bought bus return tickets and were told to change buses at The Forum in HH. What none of the 2 bus drivers told us was that there was no bus service on the way back.After having a nice time at the monastery we found out at the bus stop that there was no bus going back anymore, although it was just 3.30pm. We tried to get a cab or an Uber. It didn't work, since it was afternoon and most taxis were busy taking school children home.So we had to walk about 7km to Hemel Old Town, with a 6 year old boy, along countryside roads without any pavements at some points.When I called Arriva a few days later they were rejecting my request to refund the ticket price.This was not the only bad experience with this bus company. Quite often I stood at a bus stop and the bus was either not showing up at all or a bus came along with the announcement No Service". How ridiculous is that?When you send buses

I wish I could give no stars. The worst bus service I have seen in UK especially the 302 which never comes. In the night and temperatures as this what do you expect people to do ? It just never comes. There are old people and women with children stranded as no bus and no one accepting taxi due to short distances. If you can't run a bus service then bloody stop it. Shame !!

Truly useless, why do I have to give 1 star!! 1st bus never turned up, 2nd bus turned up 38 minutes late so I missed 2 trains from watford junction..then on my return they cancelled the last 2 buses from watford junction back to bedmond...despicable dervice. No point in buying return tickets...oh and their drivers when late are horrendous on the road....about time arriva got binned off from being a business. As for filling in their complaint forms it's a bit like the hour and a bit stood in the cold waiting for one of their buses..complete waste of time.

How is it actually possible that a company in 2022 can be as badly run as this one. God forbid you have any urgency or important places to go.By far the most unreliable bus service/company. This is in comparison the rest of the UK, Scotland, France, the United States as well as South Africa....they burn busses in SA and they still on time. Who ever is in charge here should be ashamed of themselves and give the public back their hard earned travel costs.

The drivers are heavy harassing me about my electric scooter. I enter other arriva buses in luton, Stevenage, hitchin etc and non of their drivers have told me not to bring in my scooter rather they will ask me to fold it if i forgot to do so but arriva bus 301 and 302 hemel Hempstead always harass me and told me not to bring in my scooter. I have call the office and complain this issue and the office told me i can bring my scooter to the bus only need to fold it. Please can you talk to your drivers 302 and 301 hemel on my behalf to stop harassing me in the bus. Thank you

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. They never notify their customers on delays. Waited 4 hours for a service that should have been every 30 minutes. How could a normal person rely on a public service like this.

They are the most badly run, unreliable bus company ever. The buses are almost always late or don't turn up and are often diverted for no good reason. Some of the drivers are rude and surly and don't stop when you press the bell to get off.

Buses constantly seriously delayed or cancelled without notice. Haven't run a decent service in years. Horrified by how bad this company is. If you have plans to travel find another way.
