New Wave Wood Flooring

I felt quite emotional, in a really good way, seeing my beautiful 100(+) year-old floor being brought back to life.It definitely has that ‘Wow’ factor, now, since New Wave Wood Flooring restored it to it’s former glory. It’s been covered up for many decades with carpet, and needed some TLC.What was once a hardware store in the early 1900’s, this room was the shop floor. I can’t think how many thousands of feet have trodden the floorboards in the past.It will give me much pleasure and be my peaceful go-to haven for many years to come.What a lovely local company to do business with - knowledgeable, thoughtful, caring, taking pride in their work. We have a small kitchen in a Victorian cottage which needed updating. Marcus used his abilities as a designer to help us decide how to re-make our kitchen so that it looks attractive, functions well and will last for many years. He is a wonderful craftsman and takes great pains to do a ‘proper job’. He is a good collaborator- he listened to what we wanted and gave us ideas as to how to achieve our aims. He works hard and efficiently, is reliable and can be flexible if needed. We are delighted with the work he has done for us and recommend him to anyone who wants fine quality and excellent value.

Marcus fitted hardwood solid block parquet in a herring bone pattern throughout the ground floor living area of our house. Really couldn't recommend him highly enough- he did a wonderful job!Amazing attention to detail, went the extra mile at all times to make sure the finish was perfect and came in on budget and on time.It was a pleasure having Marcus around too- really nice and thoughtful person- kept in touch, consulted when any issues arose and made excellent practical and aesthetic suggestions.Have already told friends and family about how brilliant Marcus is and those who have seen the floor for themselves have been super impressed. New Wave relaid our kitchen floor and refurbished the old wooden floors in three other rooms. Marcus visited to advise us of our options and was spot-on with his advice. He then turned up to do the work when he said he would and the two of them worked very hard to complete the work in 8 days even though they encountered difficulties with the kitchen floor which were not foreseeable.There was very little dust or mess as the result of the work and the finished product looks fantastic. We could not be more pleased with New Wave and would thoroughly recommend them.

Marcus and his team from New Wave Wood Flooring came and renovated all the original wooden floorboards in my new house. The whole process and outcome was excellent. He was punctual, polite, friendly, honest, professional and had great communication. I did shop around and his price was definitely the best, and he was the only one to actually offer to visit my house and survey the floors firsthand before offering me a quote (others just asked for a floor-plan and photographs).
