Sacred Energy

We stayed in one of the Yurts for my birthday, I chose here because the hosts professed to be nature lovers but I was really saddened to see how this wood has been treated. There is junk scattered throughout and little attention to the environment or cleaning. The yurt was meant to have a beautiful clear roof to the woodland canopy above but was so grimy you couldn't see through it, let alone the dust and spiders webs. I'd also booked a yoga session but on arrival was pushed into cancelling by the host. Along with this we asked two friends to join us for a few hours, we were originally told they'd have to pay but after disputing this the fee was wavered... though it did come at the cost of the hosts not bothering to say hello to us before grilling our guests about when, and how they'd be leaving. It was really disappointing and as much as I tried to not let it spoil our stay it just did. Be prepared to pay through the nose if you're taking dogs, as well, wood for the fire that hasn't been dried properly so just produces an abundance of smoke. Also, we were without water for showering for two days and the toilets weren't properly cleaned. Overall very disappointed and wouldn't recommend. I originally was going 5o drop this but the disappointing stay has stayed with me, mainly because it cost so much and the issues could have been easily resolved.

Fantastic place to get away from it all! Peaceful,homely welcoming, and nothing too much trouble for the hosts.I stayed in The Spiral and loved it so much, I didn't want to go home!
