Millpool Stone

Found this company on line while looking for a stone circle, so glad I did. Liked what I saw and the price. So I placed the order. It arrived in good time, very well stacked, packed and wrapped on a pallet. I had one small issue but with one phone call it was sorted straight away. (Which is nice in this age of emails and techno only stuff). As for the product itself, no complaints at all, It laid very easy and the pieces fit perfectly. In my opinion Millpool stone is a very good company, easy to make contact with and very helpful. I have already recommend them and if I need another one I know where to get one from. If you want one, go for it. I don't think you'll be disappointed either.

Ordered as they were by far the cheapest. They said that they would contact me to tell me when it was coming but the first call I got was when the lorry was sitting outside my house and I was walking the dog. That aside the chap left it on my drive where I had asked him to and when I returned I was very impressed with the sturdiness of the way it was packed. There were, however, a couple of slabs broken but after laying it out it bacame apparent that there were some spares provided and all was well. When I came to fit it a few weeks later I noticed a hairline crack in one that I hadn't noticed before so I contacted them to organise a replacement. I hadn't done anything to break it but realised they could quite easily have claimed that it was noticed too late. They were very quick in responding and emails went back and forwards at lightning speed. I thought it was very strange that they needed 24 hours to get a price to send out the replacement and during that time I weighed it (10kg) and went looking for solutions myself. DPD had a service that said it would be around £20 to pick up and deliver a 20kg parcel. The quote I got from them was £62.40 inc vat. The replacement slabs didn't cover every type of slab in the order and I doubt very much that they would have used such an expensive method of delivery had the cost been down to them. Please remember this and try to order yours locally. FOLLOW UP FROM THEIR RESPONSE. It's absolute rubbish that they could only send it by freight and, just to restate, they would not have used a method that cost them £60 if they were liable for the issue. As I say, buy locally and then you can pop back if needed. Offering it Free Of Charge when the segment cost a pound to make is a joke when it would cost a fortune to get to them.

Amazing service great delivery. Fits together perfectly. The only problem is because so good need another for different area.

It was delivered promptly and very well protected on a pallet. The delivery driver was friendly and helpful, phoning me in advance to let me know he was on the way. The service provided throughout my purchasing experience was top class. I was kept informed at all stages and they went out of their way to meet all my requests. I have already recommended Millpool Stone to a neighbour and have no hesitation in continuing to recommend them to others.

I cant praise Millpool Stone enough. A refreshing change where a company put the needs of the customer as a priority. My order was held for me until needed and Sandra was always on hand to assist with questions and helping with pictures etc. I have recommended them to my neighbour and will continue to do so. Great price, delivered as promised on day selected no extra charge. Friendly service on the phone, very helpful. Will buy from Millpool stone again without hesitation. OTHER suppliers wanted 10 week's lead time and most stores had no stock.Very very happy with the service and quality of product at a great price.

The only company I could find that would give me a delivery date hold the item till I needed it . item arrived in perfect condition on the day they said it would at no extra cost everyone else wanted to charge me extra to give me an exact day. I probably won't be putting any more slabs down but if I do I will definitely be using millpool stone .
