Tudor Rose Patchwork

I always get outstanding service from this shop. The food is really good and cafe area is very clean. The shop is well stocked and has a big variety of goods. Sewing patterns are orderable and arrive promptly. My experience of the well run courses is that they are excellent. Staff are knowledgeable, polite, and always willing to help and offer great advice. I highly recommend Tudor Rose.

Embarrassingly rude customer service - whilst the member of staff (potentially owner by the looks of other reviews) has a fountain of knowledge, the manner in which this is relayed was horrendous. I felt incredibly unwelcome, stupid and out of place, enough to put me off ever returning.

Fantastic knowledge about all their products and very helpful in assisting me to choose the right sewing machine. Price was great and delivery swift. After sales superb in answering my questions. Highly recommended just wished I lived nearer so could make more in person use of this wonderful shop.

A good size shop, a nice variety of fabrics and various craft pieces and a decent cafe (despite large amounts of it being microwaved aside from the cakes). Expensive but a nice selection. Most staff are lovely and helpful aside from one senior member who was incredibly rude throughout my visit to both me and her staff :(UPDATE: Returned today and am disgusted at the conduct of the member of staff I have identified as a miss Sandra.During my visit she was INCREDIBLY rude and malicious to her staff, and it was NOT professional nor justified to act in that matter. It was vile to watch and if this happens again whilst I am present I will not hesitate to let her (and the appropriate regulations) know. She was rude to her customers including myself, making rude comments and rolling her eyes as I went to speak to her. Disgusted.

Really pleased to have found Tudor Rose Patchwork. There is a very good range of fabrics to choose from and the selection of machine sewing needles was one of the best I have ever seen. Excellent coffee too which my husband enjoyed whilst I browsed. On our next visit I plan to investigate the knitting wools etc. as I spotted some quality yarn in beautiful colours. The shop has lots to offer, I was made to feel welcome so if you are in the area, I would recommend popping in.

Always enjoy taking my wife for her purchases and sewing sessions as the coffee shop very welcoming, comfortable and excellent food and drink. I have spent a few full days rather than driving 4 x home and back! Tucked away in a corner and well looked after by the very friendly staff. Highly recommended!!!

Lovely place friendly people, and helpful

I visited here today with the intention of buying a computerised sewing machine. My Partner took me and was happy to sit in the cafe with coffee and cake while I did my shopping. All the ladies were very knowledgeable and welcoming. Sandra demonstrated the machine for me, I felt comfortable with her and able to ask questions. Because of the cist of the machine and my own cheekiness, Sandra also gave me a generous bundle. I'm looking forward to visiting again and joining a class
