Dotty dog training

My Zero completed the 4-week 1-to-1 puppy package. Alex is really amazing. She is definitely a good trainer. My dog ​​has achieved the desired results after two or three times under her guidance. Alex gave me a lot of information about dogs and made me understand my dog's needs better. I am really grateful to her and my dog's behavior has also changed! I picked up my little one 3 weeks ago and wanted to start training with her as soon as possible. We have had 4 sessions with Alex now, as part of the six week puppy training course, and so glad we signed up! Alex has been brilliant and has a really caring and empathetic method to training and building confidence. She has been so patient with me (I think I need training as much as the puppy!) and I can already see such a difference in the little one’s behaviour. She is picking things up so quickly and I would highly recommend taking up training with Alex at Dotty Dog training! Best choice I made since bringing new family member home and I am sure I will be signing up to more courses with Alex moving forward.

We have just completed our 6 weeks puppy training course with Alex and it has been amazing . Alex is patient and knowledgeable with so much experience that she is able to use to help you to understand your dog and to unlock the communication needed to create an exciting journey for you and your puppy. Buddy has been motivated to learn and we have been hugely encouraged that we are able to understand how to make him into a lovely companion for all of us .

Would highly recommend Alex/Dotty Dogs. She's friendly, down to earth, very knowledgeable and has given us a wealth of ideas and tips to help with recall, loose lead walking, and general behaviour. From the first phone call and throughout her visits she has filled me with confidence and optimism. They say there's no such thing as a bad dog - it's bad owners (and I'm inclined to agree!) but Alex has never made us feel that way and has worked with us to understand our dogs and help us to do the right thing for them. Before meeting Alex we thought that we had left things too late to change them but she has worked wonders. My only regret is not finding her sooner.

Thank you Alex for your expert guidance. We all learnt so much from you, Puppy Flossie is behaving so much better now [well, as much as puppy's can/want to behave so to speak hah ha] There was nothing you didn't know or couldn't answer and you have helped our older dog Lulu too with some training tips which goes to prove that you really can teach an old dog new tricks it seems!. Alex has been fantastic for our dogs. She has taken the time to observe our two young dogs in their home environment to help us fix the issues we’ve been having. All her input definitely works and we have seen a vast improvement in our dogs behaviour. Not only that, she obviously goes away and thinks about how our dogs have behaved during the sessions and sends suggestions through to help with some of the specific issues. Our two dogs are always exhausted once Alex has been as she engages them so much whilst working with them. I have no doubt that very soon we will have two Corgi’s that will happily walk in our neighbourhood without being anxious about everything that moves.

I booked my puppy for a 121 6 week puppy course. Alex came to my house and was really knowledgeable each week with her different training techniques and methods. You can tell she works with guide dogs and also has her own dogs. She was great with my puppy and super easy to work with. Friendly, informative and helpful. I'd recommend her to anyone who needs some help with their training.

George has been such a great help with training our first puppy, she made huge progress in the sessions we had with him and is doing really well now. All the techniques are broken down and so easy to follow and practise. George's knowledge of dogs was invaluable to us and he was able to give us advice on lots of aspects with our puppy not just the training but also crate training and working on separation. Our puppy Hope loved him and was always so excited to see him, he's just a real natural with dogs and clearly cares a lot about dog welfare and quality of life. Thank you so much for everything Dotty dog training!! Could not recommend enough!!

I'm really happy with the progress my dog is making with Alex. Alex is a friendly, knowledgeable and professional dog trainer. She only uses positive reinforcement training methods and has already had a great impact on my dog's recall and impulse control, all within two one hour sessions. She trains your dog in your own home and will also meet you at parks to practice as well. My only regret is that I didn't book dog training with Alex sooner.

Alex is a BRILLIANT dog trainer. She helped us to calm our two crazy labs but training US to communicate better with them. She is patient, provides clear explanations and follow up practical notes and recommendations for ongoing support.
