Easy Boilers - Boiler Installation & Replacement
Have had Yorkshire boilers to service my boiler for past few years after British gas prices kept going up. Have always serviced it on time ,kept me informed of service date and time always turned up on time .engineers talked me through everything they did and any problem was resolved quickly. Always knowledgeable and friendly. Would recommend to anyone.

I'm so grateful to have found Yorkshire boilers. From the get go, they were so helpful and attentive. Our engineers travelled over 200 miles to get to me, and were here by 8am. They worked solidly all day and talked me through everything they were doing. When they left, they tidied everything away nicely. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company- they are brilliant! Thank you

Easy Boilers - Boiler Installation & Replacement
Our boiler is on the way out so needed a new boiler quickly our local plumber was fully booked for 2 weeks so found Yorkshire boilers online on Wednesday who said they could do next day installation. Followed all the instructions and sent pictures as asked. Next day{thursday} get a message asking for pictures after hearing nothing contacted them for them to say that they had not received them even though i had sent them via email and whatsapp they checked their messages and they found the images but it was now too late to get installation on friday and would be booked in for monday. My wife took a day of work all equipment arrived from the nice people of plumbase but no plumber. I continually chased yorkshire boilers for confirmation that the plumber was coming but they could not get hold of him. Monday came and went. Rebooked the appointment for thursday to be promised someone would be there my wife took a second day of work and we the got a phone call later thursday morning to say plumber was not coming and that there was not enough money in it for them to get another plumber out so we cancelled the boiler install asked for them to pick up the boiler and parts as it had been blocking up our hallway all week they said they would arrange immediately. Roll on to the following thursday they then call and ask to arrange a time to pick up the boiler. Picked up the boiler finally monday. Boiler still not fixed and wished we had stayed local. After reading some of the other negative reviews we were not the only ones. This has been an incredibly stressful experience with the added insult of two days lost wages and not no apology form Yorkshire boilers.

Easy Boilers - Boiler Installation & Replacement
Initial experience was good. Needed a new boiler in a hurry for the property I rent out, which is not in the same town I live in. The reviews for Yorkshire boilers seemed excellent and my website enquiry was responded to promptly the next morning by Nick. I filled out forms etc online and was given three options. The boiler was fitted a few days later, with no problems reported by the tenant, apart from the fact that the boiler no longer fits in the cupboard that is supposed to house it ( the dimensions of the chosen boiler should have fit).My problems started later. I heard nothing from the company post installation to say that the work had been done, and have since tried on numerous occasions to contact the company to get the landlords safety certificate which I requested to be done at the same time as the fitting, along with an invoice for the work done for my own records. I have received no reply. The tenant reports that the warranty documentation has been received st the property but the lack of response to my other queries does not fill me with confidence about the 10 year parts and labour guarantee being fulfilled.....It's interesting that the recent reviews that I have read this morning before posting are all poor whereas they were excellent 7-8 months ago.

Best avoidedI am very disappointed with our experience with Yorkshire Boilers. Initially they were very helpful, quickly providing a quote and answering questions. However our tenants had a terrible experience with the contractor who installed the boiler. In short, this related to 1) Him being rude, and making them feel uncomfortable in their home; 2) Damaging their property; 3) Not wearing a mask, gloves or following basic hygiene rules.Yorkshire Boilers were not interested in the complaint; despite trying to engage with them for 3 weeks they did not provide any meaningful investigation. I felt fobbed off.I am now having to placate my tenants who are asking for a reduction in rent.I am escalating the complaint to the Gas Safe Register and other trade bodies.I would advise potential customers to seek written confirmation of the service level any contractor Yorkshire Boilers employ as our experience was poor.

Appalling customer serviceAppalling, unbelievably bad customer service from Yorkshire Boilers and their boiler central.com company.I phoned the company seeking a quote for a replacement boiler. I went through the online questions over the phone with them. I told them, over the phone, I have a second floor flat, they said they would use a ladder to install the flue. I sent photos as they requested and confirmed I have a second floor flat. I accepted their quote, arranged finance to spread the cost and paid a deposit. My flat is occupied by a lovely 90 year old lady tenant who was so pleased that I had organised the replacement of her old boiler so swiftly and she prepared herself for the installation.On the day of installation, I received a phone call from Lewis who said he is the installations manager who said scaffolding is required and ‘we don’t install in second floor flats’. Unbelievable! Such a waste of time, effort and a major disappointment for my tenant. The website said nothing about second floor flats, neither did the man I phoned, neither did their email.I told Lewis on the phone that I wanted to complain to a senior manager. He told me no-one was available. He told me if I complained to their standard email address it would be read by all the senior managers and company directors.I sent an mail of complaint addressed to the Managing Director and received a response from Tom who also described himself as the Installations Manager. Tom apologised but insisted scaffolding would be necessary.I asked Tom for the name and contact details of the Managing Director and he has refused to respond to that request.I believe this is a ‘get rich quick’ company which appears to have only been operating since 2019.I wouldn’t touch them with a barge pole. They are obviously using cheap local installers whilst ripping off genuine local reputable installers. Doing the easy jobs and rejecting the rest.I have subsequently accepted a very competitive quote from a local company without needing scaffolding.Certainly don’t trust their quote for a second floor flat.Google tells me the Managing Director is James Stanley Easton born November 1979. I’d love to hear from him.

we have just had a new boiler fitted in our church, the service we have had from Yorkshire Boilers was exceptional. the sales team answered every question in terms we could understand. and the young man who fit the boiler was very professional and hard working . he did a perfect job and cleaned up after himself . I would have no hesitation to use them again and to recommend them to everyone

Worst customer service ever. Had a boiler fitted few years ago had it serviced regularly every year off the company. Had a problem with getting hot water rung countless times about the problem only to get fobbed off then tell me its a fault from an exciting system even though they installed an entire new system then said its not covered by the warranty its disgusting way been treated still not even sorted out the problem avoid at al cost even when they installed the system they damaged my carpet, radiator cover they drilled hole's in the wrong place damaged my ceiling and did not respect my property at all worse company to get a boiler installed from highly disappointing

Signed up for a new boiler on the rental scheme they run that includes parts, labour and servicing. Boiler was installed in Summer 2019. Payments for the boiler were taken out from another company that there is absolutely no mention of on the paperwork I signed.Boiler developed a safety issue (scolding hot water) in April 2020, called Yorkshire boilers who claimed they couldn't respond as all members of staff were furloughed (looking at reviews on here that was a lie) so I had to pay for a emergency plumber myself.Developed another problem in June 2020 with condensate drain blocked, called Yorkshire again and was told they would speak to the installers and call me back the following day with regards fixing the problem and carrying out the annual service which was now due. No one called me back. Had another plumber out at a cost to me who sorted the problem but informed me that the condensate drain required a tundish or air break to stop this problem happening again in the future.Contacted viessmann boilers who confirmed what my plumber had told me if the condensate drain if over 3 metre run it is recommended in viessmann instalation manual to have a tundish or air break. I contacted Yorkshire again to complain about the poor installation and aftercare service only to be told that complaints had to be done by email. Nobody has responded to the email.So this week l contacted the third party company to cancel the direct debit and informed them of the issues I have had (by now my annual service is also 4 months out of date). They informed me that my actual rental agreement is with them (no mention of this on contract I signed with Yorkshire). However they stated that for the first 2 years Yorkshire boilers are responsible for repairs and servicing, but agreed to come out them self's and service and put the condensate right. They came today and were very helpful.So if your thinking of a boiler rental scheme avoid these cowboys and go straight to hasslefree boilers as they are the people they set you up with anyway without informing you on the contract.
