Simply the best fish and chips shop North of the Tyne. Their scampi is just wonderful and their chips are tasty and not soggy. Fish is always in crisp batter unlike other places. It has become our first choice for fried food.greagreatThere again tonight 27/10/23. Still the best. As we are late 70's even the small fish and chips is to much for us but just great.

The food is the best, can't fault it at all for taste. It's quite expensive as chip shops go and it closes ALL the time. Also it's the only food place I know where you can walk in hour before closing and get refused service. You wouldn't mind but they close early compared to most anyway.But the fish and chips are so good I keep coming back like a sucker.Anyway has potential to be the best of the best but gets let down due to opening hours and general service in my opinion. Scope to improve shall we say.

Favourite chippy by a mile, fish is a good size, also it’s always fresh and nice and white on the inside, the batter is always also fresh and light which shows that they use fresh clean oil regularly which makes a big difference, also chips are of great quality, fresh, soft on the inside and crispy on the outside, girls serving always friendly and have a smile on their face, will be back again!

I got 2 large fish and chips and a curry sauce side. Once I got home we put the curry sauce on both fish then noticed the sauce was bad. I called the fish bar just so they acknowledge it and I mentioned I wasn’t after a replacement and I was told that I am the only customer complaining. Considering I have been a regular customer, it wasn’t professional how it was dealt with

Discusting calling me a liar rang at 6 then delivery driver turned up at 730 with wrong order my son sat and waited since 6 fir his tea. he fell asleep waiting just aswell becsuse fenham fish bar turned up without his chips never even offered to come back calling me a liar wow . All never use them agsin my son lying fast asleep waiting fir his tea fir nothing to come absolutely foaming .when places like this make money they don’t really care about their customers . Now we have nothing to eat

Wouldn't go anywhere else. Food is beautiful. Staff great. Normally get delivery and drivers are always polite.
