Found by accident. Good little car park for a riverside walk. The ticketmachine was out of order when we were there, bonus free parking

Cash only! I can't be the only one that never has cash anymore..got me a little stumped. But it's a car park, in a beautiful place.

Awesome location in the middle of nowhere. Just few paces down the winding steps and you are rewarded with the dart river flowing at a gentle pace and a very good photo opportunity with the turnbridge as the backdrop. Walking paths are nearby. Water was a bit cold.

We parked here whilst having a walk by the river. There are toilets. It costs £2 for the day. Good value, I thought.

A good size car park, it was empty when I was there, but I can imagine it would get full in the summer months. £2 for all day parking. This was a great place to start walking, there was a few different paths to take. This was a beautiful area with a lot of water and places to stop off at for a picnic. I would say it is a good place for families and children.

Such a picturesque place to stop and go for long walks in woods along the river Dart and listen to chirping birds with your kids and dogs.Great place for picnics too!The ice cream van was as always a plus on this sunny day. There is a beautiful bridge across the river there, which was built in 1812, where you can enjoy watching flowing water. The car park is pay and display, £2 for whole day, not very big though and is cash only. There are toilet facilities available.

Loads of parking. Obviously if you are going on a very hot day in summer time, during summer holidays, it's going to be difficult to find a space but £3 to leave you're vehicle there all day is a great price to pay when you have access to trails along River Dart which lead to The Moors, Forests, Dams, Waterfalls and more.

New bridge car park is about a 15 minute drive from the second Ashburton jtn on the a38 Devon expressway. It's a fantastic little carpark with a short walk to spitchwick common and Shara Pools ( I think it's called)There is enough room for about 50 cars 60 at a push in the car park if everyone parks using the brains and don't double park, also plenty of space around edges. Be aware these is a ranger which checks for double yellow parkers and not ticket holders. £2 day ticket is a bargain in my eyes silly if you don't pay. Toilets in car park super clean also!

A very picturesque area with footpath's running along the river Dart, ideal for picnics and dog walking. Plenty of places for paddling or for the children to play in the river safely. The wildlife is quite active too. One downside, the car park holds around twenty cars and fills up very quickly. Although £2 for all day parking is also pleasing.
