The SLT is an absolute gem.The productions are top notch, with a mixture of professional & experienced actors in most casts.Support this excellent theatre if you can.

We saw Rope (directed by Steve Tanner with The Southside Players) last night and it was fantastic. Really exciting play and the actors were amazing. The theatre is lovely, the perfect size and set up and very well designed. The bar was good fun too and the staff and volunteers were friendly and welcoming. The perfect night out and we're all going to go again. Thanks everyone.

Watched, the Last of the Pelican Daughters. It was a excellently directed and performed piece at the local South London Theatre. We dnjoyed a drink and snacks at the interval and met the team afterwards. The venue is well kept and the staff were kind and hospitable. It was such an excellent event, we will go back to watch more plays. A perfect night out in South London ✨️

A wonderful small theatre right next to west Norwood station. The building itself is rather impressive itself and internally it is rustic and fits in with the building itself. The bar downstairs was welcoming and homely and despite an issue with their cellar, they had a reasonable selection available. The auditorium has a good rake on the seating meaning that I didn't feel too subconscious that I was blocking the person sitting behind me, but not too steep that it makes it a bad viewing angle for the audience. I will definitely be adding this to the list of theatres I keep an eye out on what's going on at.

I have been here once to perform during the feast weekend. But, it didn't attract much crowd being an Indian Dance Performance (despite being free) . However, the crowd was very receptive and appreciative (those who attended). Conveniently located next to the station this is a very lucrative venue which also has a bar. During the performance they had children's activities which the little ones enjoyed.

Such a beautiful theatre. The building is still standing and it has such a relaxing atmosphere. Becks & David are great too, they looked after myself and the company I was with when we hired the space a couple of weeks back. Hopefully one day, I'll get a chance to see a performance at the South London Theatre or better yet, even perform there... who knows. Love coming here. So much history is in the place.

Great theatre venue that hosts a variety of plays throught the year, the auditorium is compact with not a bad seat to be found. There's a volunteer run bar downstairs for drinks and snacks pre show and interval. The staff where very friendly and helpful. Would recommend for a great night out.
