SPAR Lochcarron

Clearly a reason this shop is one of the best village shops in Britain! Staff: lovely. Store: Aladin’s cave. Bean selection: unfathomable. Worth travelling 20 miles round trip.

This is a well stocked shop with plenty to chose from. There is also ample parking along the road so you won’t struggle to park here.

Without a doubt, one of the most frendliest, well stocked and fabulous local stores anywhere in UK. Lochcarron is a stunning place to visit and this little Alladin's cave takes all of the hassle out of having to travel anywhere else for your everyday needs. I will miss this place as much as the amazing surroundings themselves. Thanks for making out two weeks that much better!

I was really surprised and delighted by the vegan selection. I found the place very diverse and I think all the today people with plenty of spleens find something. Well done!

I went in to this spa yesterday, I bought some sandwiches and drinks etc and I have to say a selection was excellent! While I was in there I asked a young girl if she sold Covid-19 lateral flow tests (as we had run out) she was very helpful and googled the nearest place that was open on our journey.10 minutes later I was getting back on my motorbike outside the Spar, when this very aggressive woman (possibly the manger) stood at the top of the steps and shouted down to me, in front of people on the street “why do you want a lateral flow test?” I was absolutely stunned as she felt she could shout this down the street to me! She then yelled at me “do you have Covid symptoms? I replied very calmly “No it’s for a friend anyway, not that that’s relevant” she then continued to shout at me, saying that she was now going to have to disinfect the whole shop because I’ve been in, I did try and continue to explain that I’ve not been in contact with anybody with Covid however she would not listen and Continued to shout loudly and aggressively at me! I was left feeling really embarrassed and upset after this incident!I’ve given the shop 2 stars because the rest of the staff were very helpful and it is a good shop!

Do NOT go in if you work or shop at Tesco.. I used to work as a Tesco home shop driver, the shop owner extremely rude and said Tesco drivers banned. As a result Tesco drivers spend their money elsewhere. I now work offshore in oil & gas and will never ever spend a penny in this place. Plenty of much nicer places with home made cakes and coffee nearby
