Fab little antique store, full of things that catch your eye and as for clocks, the biggest collection of tall and case clocks I have seen in the south west, marvellous!

Visited this lovely clock repair and sales shop today in Teignmouth. My husband came along as I wanted my Nan’s clock that I inherited from her repaired.The man in the shop was so lovely and explained what the issue was and that he didn’t think it needed to be brought in just a small working error which is simple when you understand pendulum clocks and how they work.He did not charge us for the advice and the checking over of the clock, he also said to bring it back anytime if things didn’t now work with it. So very kind :)I would definitely recommend and also buy a clock as I am sure we will return to do so another time. Many thanks again :)

I really like this shop but I can't recommend it, hence 2 stars rather than one. It does wonderful items for sale but the repair service seems a bit of a muddle. I had 2 clocks in for minor repair: they took over 3 months (I called them a few times to see what was happening, but they never called back with an estimated completion date). When eventually they were ready, they handed back completely the wrong clocks. Luckily they took a photo of my clocks originally, so they said sorry and said they'd investigate and call me back first thing the following week. Despite now feeling very impatient, I was courteous and accepted the situation. Friday morning the following week comes around... No call... So I called them and expressed in straightforward terms how fed up I was about the timescales, poor performance and general lack of communication throughout. They called back and were very apologetic and promised to get the clocks ready for the week after, but by now I'd had enough and felt completely fed up. I picked up the clocks today, and they apologised again, but there was no offer to knock anything off the price or any further action. I must say that Laura in the shop has always been excellent, but I'm completely fed up with the poor repair service and very poor quality of communication.

This was a random walk-in as we'd never visited Teignmouth before. I thought I had walked into Doc Emmet Brown's workshop at first (BTTF). People, if you need any style of antique wall clock to Grandfather clock, these guys probably have it. I loved the Art Deco style ones on display too. The lady running the shop was lovely and couldn't have been more helpful. Mind you, she probably has carpal tunnel from winding all those clocks each morning, bless her. I didn't buy a clock but I did buy a heavy duty aluminium orienteering walking stick that was randomly behind the door. Who knew?

Absolutely lovely experience with very friendly staff! We've been looking for a grandfather clock for years as my father had always wanted one, and right here were a wonderful collection of antique grandfather clocks - one of which we were told about, taught how it worked and delivered back home all in one day! My father is very appreciative of the clock and how it was delivered in a 'timely' manner by staff, and is now ticking merrily in the living room. Well worth a look as there are countless goods within, all very eyecatching!
