Marcelle is amazing! We have a Romanian rescue dog who had become so reactive to other dogs we only dared venture out for a walk in the dark, in isolated areas or in the rain! We'd tried 2 other trainers, with little success, & working with Marcelle was his last hope. 3 weeks later the progress he has made is incredible. It is still going to be a long journey, but we can already take him out for walks where he sees & meets other dogs with minimum reaction. Marcelle absolutely knows her stuff & is equally good at educating the owner. She is very supportive & is always there to answer queries & give advice. We cannot recommend her any more highly. After our first visit with marcell she was straight to the point and gave us lots of advice and taught us how to train our German Shepherd, from a dog who always ran up to other dogs and pulled like crazy on a lead after one session he can now walk beautifully on a lead and can walk without engaging with dogs. She’s always there to answer any questions and always pinpoints the exact problem and why it’s happening fully recommend for any type of dog and behaviour as she knows everything

I had training with my dog with Marcelle last year both 121 and in group walks. She claims to not know who I am or that I am making a fake review yet I have proof of payment etc etc.She is trying to cover hers of as doesn't like the negative review. She says she only uses positive methods and I hope that is now the case but it wasn't last year.Marcelle King is/was an aversive dog trainer, physical correction was recommended such as the alpha roll, the red spray corrector, even a smack with a newspaper. Honestly felt I was a failure and belittled, my dogs behaviour got so much worse, that was until I realised it was the trainer. Went for an imdt trainer and saved me rehoming my dog. Seems very cruel. Training methods outdated. Dog training groups asked what training we had done before and as soon as I mentioned Marcelle I was told I couldn't train with them if I was with her or using her training methods, I stopped before this point due to common sense so all was good. New trainer, new puppy groups and new mindset and all was good.Avoid unless you want your dog to do things in fear of you rather because they want to and respect you.Look for a trainer registered with imdt

Marcel really knows her stuff and all the quirks of different breeds!We were after help for our Greek rescue hound with anxiety separation and recall as we previously couldn’t leave him alone in the house and we became prisoners in our own home!We attended events including weddings separately unless the kennel had space, and we spent a fortune on kennels just to be able to go out for a few hours or an evening.Having tried several other behaviourists before (without any success) we resentfully decided to give it one more go as Marcel was adamant that she could help us.We followed Marcel’s guidance (even when I didn’t understand it) and we actually have our life back in only a few weeks. We’ve now left him for 3 hours and been our for dinner and lunch with friends!The ongoing support and group walks are incredibly valuable too, something which I can’t believe she does not charge for!! Marcel really has delivered on her promise to us. There is still more work to do, but the progress is unbelievable. Thank you Marcel!!

I approached Marcelle earlier this year as I was struggling to get to grips with my Labrador’s reactivity and occasional bad behaviour, particularly when walking him alone. I was starting to feel anxious and my confidence was dropping. The crunch point was a bad experience at a routine vets appointment. Following a home visit, we also walked together with other dogs and within a handful of sessions Marcelle helped me reset my mindset, and have confidence in myself and my dog. The last few months have seen a huge change in both his behaviour but more so mine. My confidence with him has grown, and was rewarded two weeks ago when I had to take him to the vets for a check up. My boy walked in, greeted another dog, walked forward into the consultation room and gave the vet his full affection and was calm and friendly throughout. This is a genuine and honest review-Marcelle is just amazing! Our five year old Cockapoo had started to become snappy and a bit unruly.She was easy to contact and communicated with us and addressed our concerns immediately on the phone and with FaceTime. Marcelle then came round the house and demonstrated how we should deal with his issues. She made very simple suggestions which are already working with some of his behaviour problems. It is still work in progress as some of his issues are quite ingrained, but Marcelle is continually supportive and answers any questions and gives us plenty of support advice. I engaged with an another behaviourist many years ago and she just gave pages of advice notes.I find that a very difficult way of learning and Marcelle was so much more hands-on! She is definitely ‘The Dog Whisperer’ and has an amazing instinct with dogs (& people)and I can’t recommend her highly enough!

In just one session Marcelle has given us a brand new dog! I feel much more bonded with her and I am able to have her in my shop with me on a daily basis. An absolute transformation and worth every penny! Thankyou so much!
