Thank you to the girl who took time to run quickly through the savings options. Having just been royally fobbed off by the women in Santander I went home and opened my 2 new savings accounts online with NW even tho their interest rate is a bit lower than Sants

I'm too old to have a mortgage so one was taken in my wife's name. She works long hours and I am retired having advised in the mortgage market for over 30 years. Nationwide will not allow my wife to give authority to me to deal with the admin. Why?

Wanted to deposit a cheque but I work 9 till 5pm in the week. I needed to discuss a problem with it so had to go in. I tried calling head office but they said i had to go into the branch. So thought I would pop up to malvern on Saturday. Just discovered they don't open any more Saturday! Very inconvenient!
